Hi guys, i justo got a new turbo for my car, my old turbo gone it is a chinese one and i bought a garret one, however before a start to replace it i want make sure i have all parts in hands,.... the big issue this chineses turbo the oil feed line goes straight to turbo, and i need a flange to fit it in the garret. does anyone knw what flange i have to use ? follow attached picture of oil feed DSC_02681-vi.jpg

    Anyone kwn if this one is the right one ??

    it\'s a knock off replica of a tial wastegate, still does the job. I\'d say it\'s running the correct spring.

    If cars been tuned to run at 20psi peak, a mbc set @ 15psi will do the job, but you will prob find will make the car run a bit poo rather than running as if the boost has just been turned down,..

    its going over 20 psi, boost gauge goes till 20 psi, however when we r on full boost, it goes way more than 20, i would say 23 psi at least, so, if he buy a spring for 15 psi for tial wastegate should be fine ay ?

  3. got a friend who bought a sti v7 with external wastegate, however car didnt have boost gauge, today we put a boost gauge on it, and went for drive....car is boosting over 20 psi, so, we r thinking to put a MBC on it and set it up to 15 psi, however i would like to known if would work, or if we got change the wastegate spring first. Thanks

Hi guys, i dont know if here is the right place to post it, but today me and my friend we went to supercheap to order 4 sparkplus for his sti v7 and i got a quote for 188 dolares, and it is not iridium ones, it is platinium.... thats ngk OEM. Why is so expensive ? is any other options that i could have ?

  5. so... my friend just got a sti v7 with pod filter apex external wastegate and 3 exhaust from turbo, but now his car got check engine light on ( orange one ). He bought this car about 1 week ago..... also turbo kicks only with 3.5 thousands revs ( not sure if it is normal on v7 due my cg8 kicks b4 3thousands revs ) and when the check engine light comes on, the idle stays between 900 to 1400 revs ( going down and up ). i said to him to take his car to the garage and see whats wrong but seems that air flow meter gone...... we did reset the ecu but after 5, 10 minutes the engine light come on and no idle again.... has anyone been through this issue before ?
