This is the sub I'm using: http://www.onlinecaraudio.co.nz/DD_LE308_Digital_Designs_8_Subwoofer_
It's quite good for a small 8" - in the car, it sounds like a much bigger sub, almost a 10"
I've just picked some of these up: http://www.onlinecaraudio.co.nz/Digital_Designs_DD_CS6_5
You won't find speakers for $200 that sound anywhere as good.
I love DD stuff.

Here is the story.
I was driving 20 minutes this evening, when I got to my destination in Botany. When I got there I had to drive around the carpark and over some rather large speed bumps to then turn around and back into a spot. When I got out I could here a fizzing noise and opened my hood and my drivers side top radiator hose had a split in it about 1 - 2 cm long on the bend in the hose. I hadn't been thrashing the car but I was running late so I had been driving slightly quickly. I walked around the carpark and the only water on the ground was from where I had been turning the car around and all up I would guess it lost 2 or 3 cups worth of water judging by what was on the ground. I jumped in the car about 5 - 10 minutes after this happened and the temp then wasn't up and I didn't notice it go up on the drive, but I wasn't exactly paying attention to the gauge. The bottom passenger radiator hose was hot, the radiator was hot as normal and the car didn't smell hot.
What has me worried is the reservoir was dry aside from maybe 3 ml of coolant in the bottom. This makes me think maybe it has had the hose blown for a couple drives and sucked all of the water out of the reservoir.
I have lined towed the car home and it is sitting out side at the moment, tomorrow I will tow it to a shop to do the hose because I am not comfortable bleeding the cooling system on my own.
What I would like to know is the % chance that the headgasket has gone again. I replaced the HG 3 months ago. I am just freaking my self out here a bit and want a bit more sound advice.

Start car. Pull leads off le battery. If car dies, alternator is no good.

Can I just make it go down and stay down? I don't use it anyway, I just wired my remote wire from my amp to it thats all

Hey everyone
The aerials on both of our BG5 wagons wont go down. My TS-R you can hear the motor making noise but there is no movement in the aerial at all. Before I go pulling my boot apart, does anyone know if the aerial can come off of it's runner or anything that would cause this to happen?

Best friend's dad just bought a 3.0r Outback and put me on the insurance and not the friend. I like it, drove it down south last weekend, not as quick as a turbo but it hauls ass
-
Sounds pretty cool tbh. If you were running the same size turbos it would be even better
-
Thats what its called! On the Powerplants it pops the caps? :-\
-
My BG has wires which I have no idea what they do, they go somewhere and are 14.3 volts? I think they may be for the air con or something cause there is a plastic void there too.
-
What kind of amp. Powerplants suffer from this often. On them it's caused by reversed speaker pluxarity. I.e some dick had put the + and - channels for your speaker wires the wrong way round.

It kind of makes me sad that all of these cars which were amazing 10 or so years ago are so hated now days. When I was a kid and getting into cars, that Mazda was incredible.

Doesn't look that bad in pictures tbh

that color is hell ugly with his little white bits lol
saw a skyline tonight rolling past real slow pumping his sounds with his blue undercar neons and a big "most wanted" sticker on the rear quarter panel lol i was gonna call out brian to him lol
HAHAHA That Skyline frequents Quay on a Friday night. It has 'Drift King' down the other quarter. He opens his boot and plays Teach Me How To Dougie till his drunk friends pass out or his battery goes flat. Sounds like crap cause his ICE is rubbish

Hey sorry bro I just double checked mine and they aren't what you are after Sorry for the muck around

This might seem a bit wanky. But maybe it would be an idea to import a wreck on the grey market and keep it as a parts car?

More accurately its a chain cam engine.
Not quite 'chain-driven' yeah pretty much just the 3.0r's that I am aware of, not sure if the tribeca's 3.6 is chain cam though. Would be cool to swap bits over, 3.0 chain cam stuff onto the 2.2 block, ah, epicness in the making
Sent from my GT-I5510 using Tapatalk
Or swap the 3.0 cam chain on to an STI. Would be good with reliability?

A massive amount of effort has been put into that! Just a shame that its Fast and Furious 1

Split a radiator hose. Hoping it didn't do damage to anything else ???
