Over a long period I have played with running a STI V3/4 ecu in a BC/BF legacy and have the correct A/F ratios well I have now done this!
Car I have done this in is a 89 NZ New RS
I have used
75 V4 ecu
Orange AFM with plug
Yellow injectors
BH Rev D FPR
Map Sensor from wrx/foz or gen2 legacy
Home made a plug and play adaptor for the ecu to plug into the factory loom so its easily removable if need be or relocate ecu if you want to!
These i can make up for members but keep in mind they take about 5 hours to solder up, theres also going to find 4 plug ecus to cut up for the socket and 3 plug looms to cut out of cars
Yet to try a 3 plug link in the car
ECU ADAPTER
Map sensor with short lead from a Twin Turbo
Fuel rail adapter in place of factory fuel pressure reg
New fuel pressure reg
AFM with converter plug

Anyone going past Petone wanna pick me up?
-
I'll be there
-
I'll prob be there from 6-6.30 have a feed
-
Let\'s just say I preferred it over a twin turbo setup
-
Yup it did go well I went for a ride in it and thought it was pretty cool, was deceiving having it
-
This is why I like the supermarket ones and fill 100l, old safari was 90l to fill and I would full a Jerry can for last 10l
-
The twin scroll turbos come on smooth and early you can barely feel it when driving. Would be an interesting comparison

Bp outback is up at 240,000 and still going well
-
Tank needs swapping as well and it\'s a prick of a job to do all up

Well unless I win an instant kiwi or anyone with a BP/BL offers me a really good swap I think ill keep it at least for the snow season. Will prob hit 185k no worries
Keep an eye out they do come up, over a year ago I got a bp outback 3l h6 with all the factory extras, mc intosh 8 air bags heated seats moon roof etc, payed 8700 for it, it had done 197,000kms but was all open road traveling and still drives mint to this day. Seen a few other deals out there and been tempted to get a second one

I drove a 03 bp wagon with 350,000 on it and I\'d say it drove better than a lot of cars I\'ve driven that have 100,00 on them, comes down to what style driving its had

V3/4 sti Ecu into bc and bf legacy

It's been done over the course of 6 months bit here and there at night,
I changed the fuel reg cause the base pressure of the first gen pressure reg is lower than the v3-4 fuel regs and it would run just lean, yea I realise that you can just repin it but if you cock it up its hard to reverse where as this is just plug and play,
What's an adjustable orange afm?
Wouldn't it be easier with a adjustable fuel reg instead of doing it electronically
