Theres also the underground carpark out in newtown, under the burger fuel. Usually no one there ever. Bit further away but fully covered.
Probs markets in the frankits carpark?
Luckily we're not made of sugar
I think both of those could be busy on a Saturday.
The weather is looking better for the weekend anyway

I think we should do this even if it's raining. Bring an umbrella each.

Okay, earlier today I ripped into it and found the wire from terminal 4 of the fuel pump relay to the connector half way to the fuel pump controller is open circuited.
I ran a temporary wire in its place (just to check) and everything worked fine. Gonna replace the wire with the correct size wire tomorrow evening.
Just wondering why it would be open circuited, I couldn't be bothered pulling the whole dash out and the loom apart to trace it.

Thanks guys.
Forgot to add, 3/4 of a tank in there. -
Today in town I had an issue starting the car. The car just spluttered a lot but wouldn't fire until after the 3rd or 4th attempt.
Luckily tonight I was at home, and it did the same thing, only now it wont start at all.
I can't hear the fuel pump priming before trying to start the car, so I'm thinking its either the fuel pump, the relay or both.
I am only getting 6.1V to the pump - That's not normal is it? Should it be 12-13V ish?
I've only just located the relay (i think) and it started to piss it down, so I'll leave it til morning now.
What checks should I do at the relay?
Any other checks I should do before buying parts?
Thanks guys!

We have a cusco baby seat from farmers which was recommended by the facebook group as a great seat, we have the little one rear facing... He is on the passenger side and if we have the car seat in the front seat cannot fit anyone into it unless your a midget with no legs, it is a tight squeeze...thankfully we have a second car which is bigger and that can fit someone in the front seat and also the baby seat in the back....
Sounds good, luckily the wife is a midget! (Not a real midget)
Thanks!

Thank all of you for your great feedback guys! All really helpful!
@sobanoodle I have ISO-fix, may do the same as you and order one from somewhere else after trying them out ;-) I think we looked at the same model in Baby on the Move for future reference when we were getting the the newborn capsules. -
When is the cut off date for booking on the trackday?
I'll be attending the weekend, but only do the trackday if I have a new car by then.
-
Nice one. I had double booked anyway! 😉

Hey guys, boring subject I know.
I have come to the stage of my life where I need some knowledge on baby seats! I'm certain there are some on here that have baby seats in their cars.
I already have a capsule, but my daughter will be moving into a new car seat when she turns 6 months old in February. I own a 2001 WRX Wagon and my front passenger seat is pretty much all the way forward when my daughter is in the back. The wife seems to think that we may need a bigger car :-(
What I want to know is, what car and what baby seat you are using. It would be even better if any of you with kids that have a version 7 Impreza could let me know which seats you are using.
Pictures (not of your kids), but of your (empty) car seats in the back to show what room you have would be even better!
P.S. I'll be waiting for the "Leave them at home" jokes. :-) -
Do the smiling winking emoji not indicate it's light hearted banter anymore? 😜 (This emoji means I'm having a joke with you)
Didn't mean to upset people.
🙃 (not sure what this one means exactly)
Edit: Also, I didn't read it properly; that you were referring to your car and not you yourself! 🤐

I did not link it on here, and for my own reasons do not wish it to be linked with this forum. If you're on your way to leadfoot it will stand out but at the end of the day it's just another Subaru.
I find it quite rude that someone who does "not wish it to be linked with this forum" is on here several times a day! 😉

I'll be there.
Although I am on call that day as everyone else at my work will be working in the Wairarapa, so fingers crossed the railways will be running smoothly in the Wellington Metro area that day.
-
I'm in. Not had an email yet, but got a call this morning!
Cant wait!
Now, to start getting the car ready!
-
Finding an empty(ish) car park in Wellington might be tricky during the day on a weekend, especially if the weather turns out nice.
I'm out and about this Saturday afternoon, i'll see if I can spot any decent places that aren't nearly full.
Morning coffees might be easier on a weekend.
