really easy to do it your self, all you need is a 3/8 ratchet driver, 3/8 10mm socket, and 3/8 12mm socket and your new belts and your away,

I wanted to punch my own balls after seeing this

Yup thats the way i do it too. Easy way to accumulate points fast, highest Ive got off was 50c a liter,

Haha

The BC ratio should be 4.11 and the RSB would be a 4.44, make sure you use the matching diff with the RSB gearbox if you plan to fit it to the the RS, and it will work

^^^ cheers bro got the TD06
-
yup I think it does, based on the "grin" factor

Ive just swaped a vf23 for vf30 in my gtb single. An its running the stock Sti ra v4 ecu, an i can say that its huge improvement got more down low power now all the way to the redline
/quote]
really
i wud have imagined the 23 having better low end than the 30....
never compared them back to back unfortunately but ur insight points as the vf30 being better than a vf23 ??
maybe more into quicker spool and mid range rather than outright top end..
max 210kw@w on whichever it ends up to be...
yup they were both running the same boost setting @16.7psi and I just felt the VF23 didnt offer the punch that the VF30 now offers. mind you the VF30 proberly suits the heavier car more than the VF23
-
what about vf35? Vs vf23 and vf30
i orignally had that turbo but swaped it out for the VF23, its basically a VF30 with a td04L rear housing, made for really quick spool. I chose against it as the ecu wouldnt have been tuned for the 35. in some ways I regret it but happier now with the VF30

my duty cycle was only @50% @217.7kw turbo ran out of puff@20psi
so saving for a new turbo now

What injectors and turbo? G4 was it?
800cc Sard injectors + high flow billet rails
Zerosports AR18 turbo
and yup G4
will be sale in the next month or so..
-
what sized turbo for what expected outcome? 217 should get along at a reasonable pace for a daily.
it seems the Zerosports AR18 is somewhat of hybrid, between a VF30 and a VF28 according to various websites.
Tbh was expecting more but hay not bad for my first dyno plot/run. can only go upwards now lol

i think the number was too high for me to read, something like 368kw atw
an i do agree with you keep the kit off, im redesigning my look in the coming months, and its going to be heavily influenced by Japanese drag cars

Radar detectors - trademe cheapies any good?
in Legal

V1\'s imo are the best.
but the cheapest radar detector to use and avoid speeding fines loss of licence etc is
common sense and don\'t speed.
