Hi all I have a V6 wrx wagon and I want to wind the boost up to 12 psi I'm pretty certain the factory controll solenoid has packed a sad and the car is on spring pressure and I don't know if I should get a bleed valve style or cheap electronic boost what's everyone's thoughts
Ive got a 99 v6 wrx wagon and its boosting between .4 and .5 bar which is the eqivilent of 6 - 7 psi and i believe thats wastegate spring pressure
i have checked for codes but nothing comes up
also sometimes when your in fifth gear put my foot down it winds up to a bar then hits cut and drops to .5 again
anyone have any ideas?
Lol just wanted an idea of an easy way to do it but there isnt realy want it off the straighten the number plate frame and make it attach to the vehicle properly lol
hi all i have a 1999 Subaru WRX wagon GF8 and was wondering what sort of clutches people recommend im keen on the idea of doing a the odd track day or drag race day so will probably need something slightly heavy duty
ok so now have the pedal retracting fine just picked one from work (repco) and made it fit lol genuine spring is about 20$ from the dealer
but the car is kinda shuddering when going into gears most of the time not all of the time tho so im thinking i may have to do the clutch even tho its supposed to be done before i brought it but who really knows lol
just dont know what sort of clutch i should buy should i genuine or go aftermarket
I have brought a 1999 gf8 wrx and noticed that the clutch pedal only retracts half way old owner told me he had recently put a new clutch i
Took it to a mechanic to instal a new slave cyl and a master kit and a good bleed and was sweet for a day then went back to half way retracting
Then i replaced the fork spring and it was better then it went crap agai
Got a rebleed was sweet then jumped in it ths morning and its doing it again
Question now is what do i do? Its not leaking anywhere only thing i can think is its geting air somehow or the new slave is sad
hi all i have a 1999 subaru wrx gf8 turbo and its standard apart from a 3 inch turbo back exhaust and now i want to get a BOV for it but being thats its a 1999 and a v6 it has the bolt on factory bov to the intercooler now what are my options other then dishing out 400 for a hks ssqv
is there maybe such a thing as a universal flange adaptor for subarus?
Hi i just recently brought a 1999 subaru wrx gf8 its an import and it had a zolve remote in the glove box and upon looking at the motor today i noticed a box saying zolve radical lighting system
Just wonding what it is the remote lights up but nothng works maybe works neons in japan or somethng
So i purchasd a 1999 wrx wagon turbo manual and after a day i noticed that the clucth was on half retracting it had dirty clutch fluid so i asumed it had air in the system
So i sent it in to a mechanic to replace the clutch slave and install a master cyl kit got the car back and was good for 20 mins was going to take it back to the mechanic thinking he had missed something
But i was talking to a guy at work and he said i should check the tenision on the spring for the realease bearing and i did this thought it was ok but i replace it and sure enough its now fixe
So moral of the story i spent 150 on the clutch when all it need was a $3 spring haha
