  1. The easiest way to check if the bypass valve is leaking is to suck on the nipple. If it holds vac then it is sweet.
  2. Awesome that you got it sorted! Code 66 sucks! Just check for vac leaks, clean out the boost solenoid in the passengers guard and check that the secondary bypass valve isn't leaking.
  3. Did you remember to plug the hose back into the vac tank? Also, there is a blue one way valve in one of the lines. I once got that around the wrong way and had no boost.
  4. Awesome! I did a similar thing a few years ago when I lived in Auckland. I popped out to go get some things from the supermarket, ended up on the motorway heading north and ended up having lunch in Warkworth.
  5. Try 22690AA501... Just saw that partsouq don't have any in stock.
  6. Changed transmission fluid in the bh5 then put my sti seats back in the bg5 then I was gonna change mid pipe and muffler but mid pipe didn't fit without the downpipes so will have to wait till I get another free day.
  7. Could always try China... https://m.aliexpress.com/s/item/32779303976.html?trace=wwwdetail2mobilesitedetail&productId=32779303976&productSubject=32779303976&shortkey=YfiQ3Ib6&addresstype=600
  8. Yes. You can buy a Legacy B4 with a naturally aspirated 2 litre. There are a few on trade me at the moment.
  9. Will this work? http://www.staparts.co.nz/View-A-Product?id=23608&Productid=Induction hose Subaru airflow meter black 76mm - 80mm interc
  10. From strongs yeah? I saw that they were sold out and was a bit guttered I missed them. Good score for you though! Chuck up some pics once you have them installed!
  11. Looks like someone has switched your intercooler and bov set up for a gen 2 set up. But the small hose between the two tee's is the one you want to remove and blank off the tee's.
  12. So far today I have replaced the rear sway bar mount bushes on the BG and have done oil and filter on the BH.
  13. These threads might help a bit as well... Here is the link to @Rosssub's build...
  14. Hey dude. Welcome! Maybe have a read through this thread. I think it covers everything you need in the conversion... http://www.clubsub.org.nz/forum/index.php?/topic/65-the-single-turbo-conversion-thread-20/
  15. @patrickc22 nah I took it out. I also used one of the stock tee's for my boost gauge.
  16. On the BG Changed the front and rear diff fluid, changed the front diff drain plug to a zerosports number, fixed up passenger side steering rack bush as I can't have installed it properly the first time as it had a small kink in it. Also discovered a split outer cv boot. Still need to do an oil change, might have to sort that after dinner.
  17. According to some it helps maintain normal boost levels after decatting the primary downpipe
  18. Not a problem dude! Yeah I have a couple of spare vf13s for the bg5 that I was gonna do the same but just haven't really had the time.
  19. Maybe loose heat shield on turbo or down pipe? I had some come loose on the primary side where the heat shield had perished and the insulation had disappeared from beneath it so the remaining shield was freely moving around.
  20. A couple from last week. Just taken with my phone...
  21. Installed boost gauge and modified the old gps under seat bracket to hold my stereo expansion unit.
