  1. Use a sharp screw driver and pick/chisel the intire first louver /2 mm off the top of every bit of core .

With a bit of practice it can be done quite fast and look good . Yea youve lost 2mm of fin . But it was doing nothing more than looking ugly and blocking airflow

  2. So I finally fixed the car and started thrashing it .

It works . It doesnt make real boost till 3k . But thats what I wanted . Its at 3k at 100 kph . So it drives nice like a single turbo setup . During normal driving it just drives nicer and not light switch boost .

In all fairness it prolly does need the vf27 rear housing as telemekas said .

Other points .my ecv rod is way too tight . It opens well before 4k

    Id like a rev d

What is the rpm limit of a rev d engine ?

Id like to do a lot of exhaust manifold pressure measuring . Run out of things to write . Theres more . Just havent worded it yet .

I really dont see how subaru had all those parts in the setup and got it so wrong . Its like the engineers and programers were trying to make each others lives difficult

  3. O2 sensor . It is supposed to flick or ping from rich to lean about 3 times per 5 seconds . Its how the xar finds best economy at stoich mixtures .the ecu purposely goes lean rich lean rich either side of stoich so it knows that its on the best af for stoich . Basically up or down a few injector % . Hence "narrow band " sensor . Its accurate for the narrow band right on stoich Cruise and idle . My car dud it for years . Replaced o2 with second hand new one . Had to check twice after that because my brain exlected it to hunt .
