  1. Lol use a can of upper engine cleaner and clean your bcs (Boost control solenoid)..

Otherwise I\'d check your wastegate actuator, my wrx was boosting 9psi(ish) even with just the wastegate connected directly to the pressure nipple on the turbo. Pulled it off and it was like a babies toy, just rattled around and then finally broke lol

Get rid of the boost tap as well if you\'ve got one lol

If the cell light come on then a error code will be loged in the ecu. Fining thats a good place to start.

Info on how to find the code can be found on the faq section.

Theres 2 black plugs under the steering coloum. Plug them together and turn key on.

The check engine light will flash long and short flashes. Long being first diget and short the seccond.

    Ther could be many codes

    Hoping this is pisstake lmao

  3. Just bought a new wrx, was originally a v3 automatic but has just been converted with a v4 Type R motor and gearbox.

It still has the auto ecu, but I couldn\'t see that causing the hesitation and lack of power at 5k?

Any clues? The speed sensor is up the s**t, seen on a few other forums it can cause problems.. can any one clarify this?

Ive got a 2 way steelmate alarm, prob not the best brand but it works pretty good so far. Is engine start alarm so I use it every morning to warm car up, it lets me know what door has been open and stuff like that. Doesnt have turbo timer feature but I dont really need it anyway as I always warm my car down by drving it gently before I turn her off. as said above. Was put into my V7 WRX, Had to bypass the clutch system as before clutch needed to be engaged to start but not anymore have rigged up a switch to choose if I want to use clutch start or not. Alarm system was $250 installed. Good product for the price imo

Remote start sounds cool I suppose.. lol

  5. As the title states; selling a Clarion C9CD V6 650 double-din head unit.

Actually a factory Mazda unit but it\'s pretty damn cool (especially when you can read Jap)

Has english for most of it\'s operations.. but the important bits; DVD + CD Playback, SD Card Reader, USB, Bluetooth, and what\'s really cool? Built in HDD. Good looking unit. Requires band expander for radio reception, but with iPod compatibility (apparently) it\'s not too much of a worry.

Looking for offers on it, comes with semi wiring loom to wire it into your Subaru :) I can attach an ISO connector if required.
