  1. I have a dragr bov on a BG5 GTB legacy ... after fixing the exhaust leak and rocker cover leak and the bearing / steer rack getting it all legal to drive I noticed its missing while driving it... I gave it to a local mechanic now they tell me the problem is my bov, that its leaking etc etc The dragr bov seems to be sucking in air through trumpets which will stick to my hands and at times would not, im looking now to either re plumb the bov back into the OEM factory setup or will buy a HKS bov (legit one as they don't leak) thought I'd throw this out there to get some feed back on the topic

IAG sure did have a lot of lawyers in my case to .. still didn't stop the courts from seeing that that they over charged and fail to disclosed the total cost involved, it sure was not up to me to prove I knew about all the hidden charges, that fell on IAG (if I get time ill photocopy what the Judge actually said when rendering his decision) legal cost for my lawyer from Auckland from Vulcan lane chambers (Peter Kaye) was covered in the pay out, I think the man knows what the fair trading act means, but possibly you might know more than him, I am not too sure. the end of the day, trial, dispute, I walked away with 7gran. I was told by a whole lot of people that I was screwed too due to the fine print, if I was to be screwed then what will I have to lose by challenging them in court, lawyer fees? pffft that was legal aid, because I was a student, but Judge made IAG liable for my lawyers fees because they were at fault. Sure ill admit it was not done in a day, 4 months, 4 months for 7 gran yep ill would do it again if it happen again.

I could be a tad late on the topic but from experience with State and IAG (both) dodge (only my opinion) the fair trading act still covers you and you can still pursue the mater in Court regardless if you have this in writing or not But of course would be better if you had something in writing, obviously : But the fair Trading act could possibly apply in this case if you were mislead by the State rep: Fair Trading Act 1986 No 121 (as at 01 May 2011), Public Act .... Part 1 section 9,10 Misleading and deceptive conduct, false representations, and unfair practices: 9) No person shall, in trade, engage in conduct that is misleading or deceptive or is likely to mislead or deceive. 10) No person shall, in trade, engage in conduct that is liable to mislead the public as to the nature, manufacturing process, characteristics, suitability for a purpose, or quantity of goods. you can read through the act http://www.legislation.govt.nz/act/public/1986/0121/latest/DLM96439.html I would suggest you get some legal advice, first. I would also suggest you put in writing and request state correct and inform you of your policy. Or just take them to court. I hope some of it helps
