to the same motor old one melted a piston. too much boost and detted to death

Hi All, First Off i already have a brand new one at home. the full kit. Is it worthwhile to install it seeing as though i will be replacing the motor at the same time ? does anyone have any rough instructions as to installing them ? Cheers Josh

Hi i have a strange idle issue. the car hunts and cannot find a good idle for itself. Everyone says check for leaks which i have and there are none but the most weird of all for me is that if i CREATE A VACUUM LEAK. the car runs perfect. anyone got any ideas Cheers Josh

BE ADVISED it may just 'Fit' in but its getting it in thats the ridiculous part

Box of beer couple of mates and we got it in Nothing needs to be cut except the bumper but not much :-) all done

At my throttle body the offset is about 5cm and then if yu continue to the pipe that goes to the intercooler where those two are meant to join that offset is abouta whole pipes width

The last state ment was meant to say the pipes that come out at the bottom dont line up with the core

The piping that comes from the turbo pushs up against the heater piping. the pipes at thepipes also dont line up with the core

I think my problem started by going to redline performance in the first place but i got a front mount intercooler kit and for some bizzare reason i just cannot seem to get it right is there anybody that has had the same problem and can offer advice or is in the south akl region and can pop by and shout a hand cheers :-)

lol i actually dont even know what cable i have kinda permanently borrowed it from my boss who was trying to remap his vw passat ;D

before spending more money check your port settings completely. these can change over and over again and no fixed setting can be locked in on an emulator. failure to keep an eye on port settings caused me heaps of headaches

I have been researching this for ages lol the best way is to get wats knowen as a thin client pc and then just wipe the operating system. the reason i use this is because instead of using standard 220v its normally power by a 220v AC to 12v DC so that means that yu can just cut the cable (its a ver generic connector) and then wire it to your 12v in yur car. For the screen i also wanted to use a double din but i had no way of puttting the video signal into it.

Umm never tried bluetooth but i guess it would be the same principle really. Also Never used racechrono just used Rom Raider as it s designed for subaru

definatley works on 5/6 you just cant tune them but the vitals are just as important

Sounds Cool, i used a thin client pc (12v ready) i installed mini xp on it, I used the 7" TouchScreen as its easy peasy and runs off usb so no need to run power and it was really cheap. the install was no mess or fuss just 2 usbs (screen,OBD2) and had to wire the 12v. this didnt use a dc to ac inverter so no extra weight/ strain on the alternator or extra space used. Overall im satisfied. no wires everywhere no risk of fire so im sorted :-)

if yu have a flash drive yup :-) but it has no software to. it is Mini xp so it doesnt even have solitaire :-(. i also make the start bar at the bottom auto hide so that it is just looks like there is only gauges

yeh probably oh well. its noted down now so the next cop will see it on their carputer

If i car is factory over the treshold thats ok to have eg. How loud are harley motorbikes.
