if i upped the fuel pump injectors and maf sensor then put a v5 sti ecu in it shuld work

i remember different thread you were asking about the actuator slipped my mind.
it is quite a differnce in turbo size for no tune but gary will know. i went from td04 to vf23 not as big a size difference but im running 14.5 too. according to subaru nz the fuel pumps between wrx and sti are the exact same pump just different injectors.
so what are you suggesting ?

he is right bro it has a td05h which is 550cfm vs the td04l 340cfm ie 2wice the power at the same boost i believe the answer to this could just be the fuel pump.

yeah he reckoned it was detonating at 6000 rpm round there.the guy was garry from possum bourne he aint at work today so i cant get hold of him wll have to ask him later

How many kms on the car? Proably something else causing it to detonate. check the voltage at your fuel pump with the car running? Maybe the pump not flowing enough at full boost
unsure of that i just got given the motor as a swap out from Sub-a-Roo cause the previous one went boom. **ITS NOT THE BOOST CAUSING DETONATION*** i will check that out mate how do i go about that :-)

i have firm belief in that too mate but just spent $200 + to install and buy the tee so may as well keep it with the tee it is running stock 11psi.
Recap:
STandard With pill 11psi
No pill Just a tee 11psi
No pill no tee 7psi

sorry forgot to mention that the boost tee has been installed in order that the car can maitain standard boost as i lost the original boost pill.
it is the stock ecu and always run on BP or Mobil 98

Just got my Boost tee installed/dialed in and goes good however the guy said to me that in the higher rpm 5800 to limit that the car is "pre detonating" i need help with this i really dont wanna go through another motor can someone offer some advice:-)

sweet what i can say is that at 10 psi you can barely hear the turbo but it F***in hauls

temp guage stayed the same the whole time

greatest (sarcasim) thing happend to me today i walked out of work to go home started the car and my boost gauge didnt move at all popped the bonnet and noticed that the boost line was broken (least of my worries) i also noticed that the water line to the turbo was torn and all the water had drained out problem is i had been driving for a good two hours solid and have no idea when this line tore. the water once replaced is not oily and the oil has no water in it. is it possible that i have severly damaged the engine.
PS to the bost above as i said before i changed the turbo boost was 11 to 13 psi

i asked them that but i asked for specific boost i dont wanna toss around with the boost all the time so ebc is overkill. as for the ecu it is link indeed i went to a place in pukekohe. i wouldnt mind a new ecu as they do sound like they give you bang for your buck

Right just taken it to three different places. confirmed version 5. the boost issue will have to be sorted by a $115 dollar turbosmart boost tee. otherwise its over $2000 work and same outcome.

I have been told version 5 and version 6 by numerous people its a wrx not sti and im not sure of the ecu number if yu want i can lift the carpet later and check

Right so i bought a new line pill and t first put it in and wat do yu know 7 psi so then i saw the above guys post and realised i did just that and put pill in wrong line i fixed that it raised it to 10psi but i not getting the magical 13
