Right if i bought a boost tap which one should i go for

Ok i have found out that there is a restrictor pill in the line so i have replaced that with no hope i am about to check the boost solenoid now. just to put the thought of my engine does not have enough puff to spool the turbo i removed the line from the wastegate and the turbo sure enuf spun up to 15 pound so i buttoned off. The problem is definately something to do with the line and the or the wastegate please if anyone has knowledge please help

The stock was bout 11 psi with a td04 and mor leaks than a siv. right now with a td05 its 7psi it pulls well but not as good as it did. im thinking of adding a boost controller. which one shoild i add something not going to give boost spikes

Right i went ahead and installed everything using the standard td04l wastegate actuator and am now boosting 7psi :-( there is no boost leaks at all checked that already. Is it the fact that i used a tdo4l actuator and is there any soloution without having to go buy a td05 actuator eg hdi boost controller cheers josh

the crap has struck my mate has just rocked up with the turbo buut he has no standard actuator for it what are my options would it be possible to pull the old one off

Yup it has a 90 degree but came with straight one so i can just fit tht. can i just bolt this on and turn it over

Hi all, my mate has offered me a near td05 turbo from his suby as he is getting a garret gt35r turbo. my car is completely stock. what would i need in order to fit this he reckons just bolt on but logic tells me other wise. cheers josh

is this all i will need to do, install gearbox and diff and connect cables? and it will be sweet :-) just as a little sense of humour as well i went to a reputable performance shop today where i was gunna buy a bov and spoke to the rep (must have been a trainee) i asked him if they had any to which he replied "is that for a naturally aspirated or a forced induction subaru ::)" my friend had to seal the deal for me as i couldnt talk to this person i was laughing too hard

Hi, i have recently had the misfortune(soon to be fortunate) of actually blowing up a gear (4th) i have searched these forums for information but none directly answers my question. my question is what would need to be done in order to install a Subaru 4.111 ratio gearbox (i would assume out of an RA) into a wrx that has a standard 4.444 with no engine mods. im in a slight hurry as i will be driving down to christchurch for the mega meet woohhoooo. cheers :-) Btw i got the ok from the mrs woohoooo to that to hahah ;D
