  1. No I swapped out V1 COP\'s for V7 COP\'s. All of the V1 and V2 coilpacks I have seen are cracked and run like ass.
  2. I did this conversion and it works well
  3. I\'ve got a twisted setup, flipped mani, and flipped IC. Just setting up the piping and was wondering where to put the expansion, or just a reducer on one end.
  4. On all of the FMIC piping kits, the diameter out of the turbo is smaller and then it expands to larger after the bend. Any logic for this? If so, how long should it be smaller for? Thanks
  5. I\'m already running GD struts with superlows I\'m swapping over the brakes and the alloy A-Arms I think I have a few undercar braces too
  6. hey guys a few months ago I parted out a V3 STi Wagon. I have all the alloy A arms etc etc I assume they will bolt into the SF? I\'m looking to do a 4 pot brake upgrade so might as well do all the suspension and braces while Im in there. Thanks!
  7. I got the wheel alignment yesterday and he cambered it a bit and made it worse. I chucked some spacers on today and it helped a lot as long as I stay off of full lock. Time for new rims!!!
  8. Yep thats why spacers will sort it. Not changing the wheels until I find the ones I really want.
  9. Its rubbing on the inner guards. Going to pick up some spacers today and see if i can sort it.
  10. Mines rubbing like a bitch. I have removed the inner guard liners, and "massaged" the wheel wells. I\'m going to try some spacers tomorrow, and get it flusher with the guard.
  11. I really dont know. I havent driven it too much and am going easy until monday when i can pull the inner fenders out and roll the front guards
  12. Doh! Its still auto. Guess I have to keep it
  13. Thanks! I vaguely remember reading about a spacer that I need to remove from the front. Anyone know anything about that?
  14. New swap plans now. Some will like it, some won\'t. Mods can feel free to close this thread.
  15. ^ Agreed. Conversion time next week Don\'t worry about that!
  16. The RA ones are better I assume?? I have a V3 rear swaybar somewhere that apparently fits it - just have to figure out what bushes I need Then its turbo conversion time, although I\'m having fun cruising in it
  17. So I dropped my Forester today I used V8 STi struts, and dobi-sport superlow coils I got about an 80mm drop Before: After: It rides well but I get a little rubbing at full lock. I\'ll sort that out on Monday, and get a wheel alignment.
  18. I assume pretty much any single turbo motor fits in without too much drama?
  19. Sweet so its pretty straight forward I\'ll start collecting parts I assume if I have to do a loom I can run a V1-V2 EJ20G with a 4 plug ECU?
  20. Hi guys I picked up a NA forester for the right price, but its an NA After driving it for a couple of weeks im finding it rather slugish Anyone done a turbo motor swap in one of these? Worth the hassle? Any advice? Tips? Tricks? Traps to look out for? Cheers!
  21. I have an STi Nardi wheel in decent shape. Actually I have a WRX one also.
  22. Thats just the legacies. The GC8 ones are under the passengers feet, as mentioned.
