  1. check engine light wont know if its overheating/overheated. Have you check the ecu fault code that its giving? cheers
  2. Yeah i think i did lol. kinda hard as I liv in aux and dont know anywea decent to go since im new to the big city buzz lol. Oh and you didnt like the Znoelli rotors? i have the DDS ones and some TS2000 pads and man they were getting close to fade on me last track day (their first lol )

  4. why couldnt you get 365 do a ten? i know of 2 cars making similar numbers both in the 10s 10.8s at that too. and as you said 311 did a 10.9 in a heavy v7 compared to a v2/3 RA..
  5. Lol ill be fine all day every day in this department so no worries there. Just after the least effort to help him out as he wont wna pay much if anything so I cant be bothered sitting there with an iron,solder shrink tube, 2 pinout diagrams and a sore head from all the flux smoke from a few hours soldering lol. Thanks guys. Had spoken with afew about the v1/2 wrx ecu repin idea but thought some1 must have used a v3/4 ecu that way we could use yellows without chipping the ecu ect. Anyway thanks once again .
  6. As title states ;D. What ECUs does everyone seem to be using? I know all use v3/4 sti ones when converting EJ20R lagacys but what about the earlier ones say 94???? I dont play with the earlyr lagacys that much but Im trying to help out a m8 who is new to the subaru scene . Thanks

    yeah wont fit. possum links are good for around 230kw max. for one they dont have a proper IAT sensor so pusing decent amounts of boost can become dangerous. secondly their maps arent that gr8 so when trying to run any decent size injectors youl eng up with drivability issues and idleing issues. Other then that theyr gr8 for getting the most out of your setup to around 200-230wkw and loosing the AFM. As for anilag its a waste of time really as to make it run properly you need a decent air bypass system to be setup. u can use IACV but doesnt allow well for a proper antilag system. As stated you get what you pay for
  9. hey, Nope didnt crack on me and my good friend still has the car on trademe (Listing #: 337289172) Ull see them in one of the pics. Cant comment too much about gains as did other things at the same time. But definitly felt a lil better then standard up top on the other car I fitted some to. As already mentioned do sit pretty low thats for sure!! and as for the douhnut type swivel joint it can be pretty frail just dont overtighten it and they seem to work well. Sound not too bad aswell and yep loose most scoob rumble up top. And as for woth getting... Low car- no cheep fix and upgrade at the same time- yeah why not. (dont use their crappy supplyed turbo and head to mani gaskets tho)

  17. hey guys, thanks for the info . Ill have a look thru some posts and see if I can find the changes that need to be made to the pinouts thn ill see if I can make sense of it without to much difficulty lol. Ive done a good few of the EJ20R missions but usually dont do the early stuff very often so im just interested in ways to make the job easier instead of a week long mission trying to figure it out myself lol. Obviously different then the mod that needs to be none to the EJ20R loom?? if theres any more you guys would like to add feel free

Just wondering if any one has done this and what is involved if so? plugs look the same just that the legcy runs v3/4 TPS & un needed TT wires and thats about it I could think of off the top of my head. (car is in the process of being single turbo converted, almost done just need to sort IC piping and the computer) Havnt tryed pluging it up tho. Share your info people ;D thanks
  19. his looks MY97 as it has a V3 bonnett so itl take abit more then the late v2 MY96 wrx's. should do 10 bone stock.

    I find the 22's to be prety similar to the 30s (30 sweet FA earlier) and vf23 prety close to the 30 so "gud lil" bit earlier then the 22 if that makes sense to ya!
  21. listens out for detonation. If det is picked up sends signal to the ecu and ecu retards the timing..
  22. Highly doubt it turbo related, did everything go back on mint? No IC pipe leaks or not quite go back on properly? when it warms up and dies unplug the AFM and see if it starts back up again with it unplugd.

  24. Nah man never lookd or had to. dont play with much of the v1-2 stuff. Just know the loom male plug end colours lol.
