What did people pay to get it done? Got quoted around 225$ if i remove the arms and take them in for them to supply/press for me. Or around 450$ for a drive in drive out.

haha no, im selling it anyway so i can buy a wagon. Performance mods on a 3L auto sedan that ive done 10000kms in 3 years is a bit pointless
The wagon will just replace it as a tow hack for the fun car/long distance cruiser.
Though the antilift kit i put in my old sti was nice.

Trusty legacy that i havent had to spend any money on in nearly 3 years of ownership besides gas and insurance failed WOF today. both front LCA rear bushings are torn. Also due for service so guess its time to throw some money at it. Right when im trying to sell it...

Its in one of those waterprrof gopro camera housing things so I think the audio is pretty muffled. I forgot to plug in my external mic again...
But yeah, wind noise is surprisingly low with the roof down regardless.

Ahaha, yeah oops. Rwd, less than adequate suspension, 205 street tires and 200whp makes it pretty "exciting" to drive haha. Although usually it was a case of going too quick into a corner, then overcoming understeer with a bit of clutch action. Especially in the afternoon sessions. Was good fun.

Awesome day, had heaps of fun and in car domestics during the amazing race then another great day at the trackday,
Sorry to pollute the clubsub track group with a mazda, my legacy support car isnt much of a track weapon, it did manage to tow Morris's broken car to his mates place though
but it meant i have a bunch of footage of you guys from incar that ill upload over the next couple of days.
Thanks to Ray for organising it and to everyone else making everything to pleasant.

Fuu, my flatspotted tire from superlap failed a WOF. Have to express order another tire in time to fit tomorrow ot leave saturday.
Was an expense I didnt need.. Luckily it was in stock though,

They dont check them. So its up to you really. But anythign motorbike legal should be safe.
I have an old helmet I can bring as a spare if anyone needs it.
Also getting excited. Getting an alignment tomorrow, and a WOF then good to go.

Yeah its a bit small anyway so ill upgrade to a td05/VFxx at some point.

Found out on the weekend at superlap that my stock suspension is a bit lacking compared to the grip, braking ability and speed the car currently has.
But still managed to go quicker on street tires than my old sti did. Also found out the water line to the turbo seems to be sucking air somewhere. Thankfully i was told the wrx td04s dont need it and are fine on just oil cooling, so cut the lines and bypassed it instead. Seemed to stop the car overheating.

I remember seeing a black la ferrari about 6 months ago in auckland getting off at greenlane. Had the numberplate hykers. Was going to take a photo but through better of it while driving.. would have made a potentially expensive front bonnet ornament.

Hopfully sold a car this weekend which gives me the dollars to enter, then i just need to get a seat bracket made to fit my bucket seat to the floor as I dont clear the rollbar with my helmet by much with the stock seat.

My bl was broken into, but i think it was more just a smash and grab. If they did try and steal it, it was still parked on the road in the morning. They have a transponder thing in the key for the ignition as well dont they?

I just did the last corner as a sharp V instead of hugging the inside corner, means youre only on high load for a brief time as you turn sharp instead of extended G forces hugging the corner. This was on decent road tires in my STI, RE11's.
I think most trackdays at hamptons are now on the dumb small track anyway arent they?
