People here have used @mlracing.co.nz and had good experiences!

Which is a container and is a few months wait.

I had an unpleasant experience with 41 Automotive which are/were a CS sponsor. Nor they ended up being much cheaper than going through buyee of the likes anyway. Priced up a few things through MLR too (including a Bilstein B12 kit). Was still cheaper and certainly much quicker to import myself directly.

Japan has export law that forbid freighting compressed air components

I'm pretty sure you can still do sea freight if you're prepared to wait for a couple of months and find a retailer willing to assist.

From what I remember B8 are designed to be used with lowering springs and B6 for stock.

Also keep in mind that that different revisions of BL/BP were equipped with different revisions of Bilsteins hence you'll see different part numbers. Earlier revisions were the stiffest ones.

Yeah true. But the fact they list the same spring rates for 3rd/4th gens says that you could probably get away with running either in either.

You get away with the same rated springs in adjustables because you can control the height, do not see the same happening with the fixed perch struts.

    1: learn Japanese.

Or you can buy my set of manuals in English :D and try to remember what does what...

Will be a bit of downgrade to go to a standard unit, plus afaik you'd have to replace a few other components, not just the head.

Another potential option: find a NZ new McIntosh at wreckers and swap them over. In this case you'll also have NZ maps, fairly outdated though unless you want to splash out on a $$$  navi CD.

  5. How about you post a photo of your own set-up? :) Is that a gloss black McIntosh? If so there is no way to change the language without replacing  the whole unit with a NZ/AU new one.

Not sure what manual you have/referring to but my NZ new BR9 came with a couple of manuals, one was specifically for a McIntosh system.

Only thing I'll add is that on mine there were screws in the bottom corners by the wheels

Yep pretty sure mine had them too then, thought I was confusing myself with the rear bumper removal, a few hidden ones there from what I remember.
