  2. this link you had put up with the updated a3 diagrams, donest exsist anymore, this is the link i need right? do u still have the files by any chance? [email protected]
  3. that link shows a 1994 GT pinout, does that have the same pin out as my 1999 GTB do u know?
  4. Hey guys Really in need of a BH5 1999 ecu pinout diagram, can anyone help or point me in right direction!? im not after pictures to rewire the TT to ST , just after the standard pinout Diagram. Any help much appreciated!
  5. Hey guys after some help! Ok so i\'ll start from the top, I have a legacy 1999 GTB BH5, i have replaced the block with a V7 STI block with all aftermarket forged internals and changed the TT setup to V7 sti single turbo along with added fuel mods and oil pump etc etc. I recently brought a Link g4 storm ECU and loom off a dude that had done almost the same as i had, his loom was wired up for his car, it was a 1996 or 98 Wrx sti ra v6. He seemed to think that it would work perfectly with my car and all i would need to do is take out old loom and plug in new loom. So i started taking out old loom and quickly figured out that the new loom wasn\'t going to work. it was straight from the ECU to the engine plugs, however the loom didnt have any part of it that went to all the dashboard and ignition plugs. so basically I\'d put this new loom in but nothing on my dash would work, ( it would completely miss the part of the loom the goes through behind the dash). Does anyone know what my options are from here that is not going to require a whole new loom wired up or anything that\'s going to cost me a bomb of cash? What would the thoughts be on putting in a v7 ECU in and what would be required? Are there any adaption plugs from my original 4 way plug loom to a single plug to go into the g4 storm? And would my old loom be compatible with my new single turbo conversion setup? Any advice/thoughts would be much appreciated!
  6. very good advice thanks, yea its running very low boost at the moment, definately a good idea about v5/v6 stock ecu, but i think to get it to the power i want i 'm still going to have to get the link ecu, at least that way i can get the fuel consumption correct, its doing only 350ks to a tank without boosting next to nothing.
  7. stoffa, reflash wat type of ecu exactly? gazzy, thats interesting, i was thinking i'd basically be doing thetune to get the fuel ratio right, at the moment it drives fine, running low boast, but only sometimes when i accelerate fast it feels like its slighty jumping a bit (starving it self of gas i presume) Already replaced the plugs
  8. walbro it is then! ah im not entirely sure, all i was aware was that the GTB model comes stock with 550cc injectors, didn't think other models did. this is just what i've been told
  9. So ultimately best way to go is 220kw and fit a walbro without getting too much more involved?
  10. Thanks heaps for confirming that guys! Yea so I already got the split fuel rail set up already with the 550cc injectors that come stock, been told this would run it all good but you guys reckon a 500hp pump as well? Prob getting it tuned to about 230-250kw ATW, will a walbro be nesercary for this much power?
  11. Yes correct plox single conversion, thanks that's answers a lot, so basically there should be a 3 plugs into the back of my stock ecu?
  12. Hi guys. So i have a 1999 legacy GTB, it has the following mods, V7 sti block, J.E. pistons, con-rods and bearings, v7 sti crankshaft. spilt fuel rails, v8 highflow oil pump. v7 sti turbo. custom aftermarket modified downpipe and 3inch straight through exhaust system. BUT i am running the stock heads so obviously the stock legacy ECU as well so needs a tune badly. called up many dyno tune shops all across auckland, no one will touch it unless i buy a g4 link ecu. found one on trademe but i've been told to find out if it will fit my car, this g4 link description is said to fit a V6/V5 WRX or STI and Facelift Forrester. Any thing with a facelift dash and the coil pack for the engine on the LH side. I have been told that my GTB and the v5/v6 ecu is the same, is this true? If it is this g4 technically should fit correct? What are your thoughts?? heres the link to the ECU: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=482849507 Cheers guys!
