Hey all, so my gear boot is getting a wee bit torn on my 02 legacy. I\'ve got another one, but am just wanting to know how to go about changing it, best technique for release the clips that hold it together? I\'ve tried pronging the clips up with no luck. I\'ll put some photos up tomorrow. Thanks.

I had a wee look around and a few of the Mitre10 Mega\'s sell it - but for $30 a can. Does anyone know a cheaper place to buy it? The official Plasti Dip site in US, sells them at $8.66 USD. Hey all, just wanting to know if you guys could help me with a wee problem showing. I recently went about fitting an HKS SSQV 3 blow off valve on my car, only problem is, the hose keeps on tearing with the boost. Didn\'t play with anything else when putting it in, but everytime after I drive, it\'s showing it being torn. Is there any way to go about fixing it, being, any high quality silicon hose available for purchase, heat wrap for re-enforcement, or is there possibly another problem?

Nah, I live down here in Chch. Yea the A/C comes on when turned anything is regarding the A/C console. It shudders maybe every 10 seconds, and then the CEL comes on. Worries me a bit, I havn\'t used it since, don\'t want to do any damage. Do you think it would have something to do with the battery?

Hey there guys, just got a few problems with the B4, not too sure how bad they are so i\'ll chuck them on here. 1. In my \'02 Legacy, I\'m having problems related with the Heating Console. Whenever I turn it on, the CEL comes on and the car shudders, I tried it today and it drained the battery. Is it the battery giving out or something else? 2. The Low fuel gauge light is coming on at strange times. The car currently is sitting on the second to last bar and the light is on. Is this a hard fix/ how should I judge the approx amount? Cheers

Heeeeeelllloooo, So the other when day, when I was giving the car a clean, I noticed that the kit around the car was starting to lose it\'s grip on the car. What do you recommend as the best was to glue it back to the car? I\'ll post some photos later. Cheers.

Went and got a few things done before winter - Brake Check - Anti-Freeze Check - Battery Check - Wheel Alignment - Tyre Rotation and Balancing. All for just $69 - Not bad. Only thing I need to do now is to look at getting a new battery before winter.

Probably going to get them sometime next week, I read somewhere here on CS, about a nightshade tinted spray. Does anyone know if they still stock such a product and where it is available? Was thinking of doing the side indicators with it, and maybe lightly spray the tail light. Would that make them too dark?

Hey all, been looking around at getting tinted Headlight covers for my \'02 B4. Only problem is, the lister says that the sizes for the headlights are different being an 02 model. If so that would it still fit? Sorry if the links don\'t show, was doing it off my phone. Cheers

Yeah, I park there everyday. Study Graphic Design at D&A, makes for the perfect place to park and at no cost! Any tips of what I should work on the car next; Both to do with the visual and performance side of it? I was thinking about getting the black middle part of the it repainted, it has some wear on it.

Might aswell chuck it up: Next step for me is, to paint the brake calipers red and also paint the \'DTM\' on the mags red (For this should I just attack it the same as doing the calipers?). Lower my baby a little bit and go about removing the spoiler.

Had my Rev-D B4 for about 2 months now, but have yet to do anything to it so far. One of the things that I do want to get done on the B4 that I miss from having on my VR4 Wagon is having the side indicators and tail lights tinted. - Where abouts can I go about getting this done? I think on my VR4 they used a tint spray, and is it possible to tint the headlights? - I've been looking on Trademe at wheel spacers. I don't really know much about them, other than they increase distance of the wheel from the body? Is there any downfall to this and what is a suitable size to get, making it look nice? - Where abouts in Christchurch can I get my ECU flashed? Thanks for everything. Might sound like a complete tool when I ask this, but... Is this RSK modelled B4 also known as Rev-D? Or am I just assuming things. Whereabouts is the best place to get the ECU reflashed and around about how much does it cost? Cheers guys.

Sorry about bumping this back up, but with the Blanking plug, what size should I be needing to get? Where does it actually get fitted, so I can measure this up? Thanks for the help again, just have never had to install a BOV before, so finding my way through the ins and outs.

Thanks for the help guys, I think I'm going to find my love for my car getting stronger with every upgrade I make to it. Going to be spraying the calipers red on the weekend,give it a good wax then take it out somewhere to get some flashy photos of it taken. Are there many cost efficient upgrades I can make that will give me a little bit more power/ how costly would converting it single be? I'll let you guys know with my progress. It's gonna be something special. EDIT: Just had a look on TradeMe for the blanking plugs, but they only have sizes; 19mm, 25mm and 32mm. Best bet?
