Just had Julian from Obsessive come and check out the car. GPS tracker and Cobra alarm being installed tomorrow, all wired into the factory immobilizer and keys.

Hey guys,
After having another Suby stolen I think it's time to beef up the security on my new one. Have just got a BP GT and am looking for an alarm, immobilizer, and GPS tracker. Can anyone recommend somewhere in Wellington to do this? I've used Obsessive Vehicle Security (http://www.vehiclesecurity.co.nz/) in the past and the guy seemed to know his stuff. Any advice would be great.

Hey mate, this is my Suby (Cheers for posting up Joker).
Sucks about your car, mine was immobilized and alarmed as well. Hasn't shown up yet, got an email from the Police 2 days after I'd reported it basically saying they'd stopped looking unless further evidence came to light. Sounds like there's not much they can do.
Will keep an eye out for yours, seems like they are pretty pro jobs though, not just joyriders, so chances are they're gone

Hey bro, do you know if they found the guys that stole this? My WRX (in this thread: http://www.clubsub.org.nz/forum/index.php/topic,10084.0.html) was stolen from Clifton Terrace around the same time we had construction workers on the street. If so could you let me know? Cheers

Cheers for the replies guys. Still haven't heard anything about it, or found any bits anywhere. Insurance are gonna pay out, but nowhere near what the cars worth.

Hey guys,
Had my WRX stolen last week from outside my house in town. It's a Black '96 wagon and is completely standard. Plate is EJU25 and has about 120,000 on the clock. It has a small ding in the passengers door and a broken left front spotlight (though I imagine this is the least of the cars worries by now...). If anyone hears of anything drop me or the cops a call.

Just got a call from the police who said they've found this in a garage in the Hutt somewhere. Been completely stripped and had all the VIN plates etc cut out, managed to identify it from a VIN number on the broken rear windscreen. They're gonna give me a call next week to go take a look once its been towed to a yard.
