  1. I had new OEM u-joint bushes and Cobb front and rear shifter bushes on one of my previous cars. It wasn't cheap, cost around $200 all up but there was no front to back play and a only a little side to side. Probably my favourite modification. It still didn't feel as smooth as a Honda though.

  2. No news of the car yet. I called Auckland Transport and only Police can request CCTV footage, so lets hope they've done that.

Also, saw this in the same car park on my way home today.

Safe to say, I'll be driving to Uni from now on.

Thanks mate. It only looks mint in the photos. Cars a POS in real life.

  3.  BUGEYESTI']Really???... Laaaaaame, will keep an eye out as am working out that way this week.

Theres more than just a few Legacys around these ways though haha.

****tonne of cameras there dude, get hold of Auckland transport and have a chat. They only store footage for like 3 days

Cheers dude, I'll get in touch with them. Probably taken by the some kids for a joy ride. 2 Litre sohc isn't worth jack in parts.

  4.  megamac']Not your rear diff or anything?

It's more of a humming sound than a whine.

Not a clue but what would the chances be stuffed wheel bearings could be the cause of your speed sensor problem.

Thats a very good point. Might just bite the bullet and order 4 new hubs.

  5. I'm getting noise that sounds like wheel bearings; the faster I go the louder it gets. It sounds like it's coming from the back.

I put the car up on stands today and both front wheels have up/down and side to side play while the rear have no play. Is it common to have all four go at the same time?

  6. Hey guys, I've gotten myself into a conundrum.

I sold my car on the 21st of this month. It was late and cold and the buyer assured me he'd change the ownership online when he'd get home. He seemed trustworthy.

I checked on carjam today (27th) and it's still showing me as the owner. The buyer isn't answering calls or texts and all I have is his first name so I can't complete the sellers part of ownership change either.

Is there anything that I can do to get myself out of this situation? I don't want to get stuck with any fines he encounters. Can I report the car stolen or deregister it since it's still under my name?

    Cheers.
