Alright had a pretty thorough look at this wrx here. Drives really well altho interior is stripped. Didnt make any funny noises etc Only thing I noticed was that the left rocker cover was leaking onto the exhaust manifold so white smoke was coming out after driving and also the gearbox seemed pretty notchy but only when cold? Yea but with my budget im having trouble finding a sti that hasnt been abused to the days. Standard ones seem to be in better condition, at this stage I want daily/reliability over speed and handling. I used to own a GT4 so its not like im missing out on anything too badly

Its a V2 WRX. standard spec will have td04, grey injectors and green afm, they go ok but can get STI cheaply these days which is far superior bro. even a SA WRX wagon will be better than that model. But STI is the way to go. To old. If the price is right and it looks like it hasnt been as abused as much then sure why not? Anything WRX specifics that should be double checked? I have a few I want to look at this weekend

Hey guys, im thinking of joining the subaru crew. What are the things I need to look out for before I bite the bullet? I have around 6k in budget so I should be able to get something clean with an acceptable amount of k\'s. (Sorry tried using the search function but could not find anything). How reliable are these cars in comparison to other turbo\'d cars? Also whats with the myth about the bottom ends, are they really that weak?
