subaru legacy manual conversion..

I have a 1991 ej20 single turbo legacy wagon it doesn't seem right auto.. Thinking about changing to manual with STI box and engine anyone done this? How did it go? cheers.And if I run STI motor should I do STI gearbox to? Cheers connor
