We run no bov on the rally car and have done for 3 years. No turbo failure yet. And at 22psi.they don't fail as much as people say they do

stock td05? those things a bricks though. How many k's in 3 years? like 1000k's?

  2. I've done a search and its so all over the show.

Can I pull off the BOV and block it up and have no dump valve AT ALL? Some say its bad for the turbo some say it's fine and they have done it for years. Only boosting 7psi so I don't see how it will comp surge only thing im not too sure on is when air escapes back through the compressor and making it either go still or make it go backwards while I still have exhaust going through the exhaust housing.. would this then make the shaft turbulent? Will it be hard on the seals? are bov's over rated? I really want to delete it ey.

  3. FOUND HER!!

Police busted a chop shop when one of the hiluxes they stole to tow my car with had a gps tracker in it lol.

She's missing a few parts but the Philippinoes that lived upstairs confirmed there was a subaru that visted the chopshop and took the parts. The parts included were stock slanted intercooler, blitz trumpet bov, alloy induction + afm + red mushroom pod filter and a 400w Kicker amp and DB sub in a big grey fluffy box. I know what that blitz sounded like with that setup and it was too unique, The driver will be in christchurch and I will find him also he will have my red black and white checked pattern gear knob, if anyone by any chances sees a subbie on the hills or what ever with these details grab the plate or flick me a text. I will gladly return his factory pieces and free skin from my knuckles. Cheers!

(ill upload pics of the damage, they ****ed the ignition barrel and ****ed with TONS of wiring in an effort to get the car started, they never got it started :D)

  4. "The cause of these problems could be a number of different things. Oil leakage or contamination, defective cables, warped flywheels, worn bearings, misalignment and a cracked clutch pressure plate could cause the clutch problem in several different areas"

What you upto this Saturday loch? If you not up to anything man Ill bring it round, Im pretty keen on buying some spitfire coils among other things but have it all on hold till someone checks the car setup out.

  5. yea its a pretty ruthless clutch. When approaching red lights or stop signs anything where there's another car in front of me I have to stop a good 1 & half car lengths behind them so I can take off without slamming into the back of them lol, I'll take the car to a specialist and get them to have a drive I'm fairly certain its clutch slip though I'm thinking it was not installed proper perhaps not aligned right.

  6. yea but i got no photo's of the car, the hard drive they were on is rooted. Thanks for the offer though. Most of the cars mods are still under my staircase so not all is lost, but in all honesty I know how the car jack scene is and more than likely the car is already chopped. It would have been no easy feat to steal that wrx, it was immobilized and I also took the cars main fuse and Ignition pack out before parking it for 3 days so who ever took it has taken a few cars before. unless they just straight up towed it.

  7. Brought a 30det r32 with alot of modifications, The guy I brought it off had it parked next to his hummer so he just paid someone to do it up and I want to know where it's at etc.

If theres anyone in Christchurch that wouldn't mind me bringing it over to have you scope it out real quick that would be sweet. The whole powertrain is near new as he could afford to have it recond. Im mainly curious about the ecu, injectors and coils.

    Cheers!
