  1. " I don't have any money, but what I do have is a very particular skillset, a skillset that makes me a nightmare for people like you. I'f you give me the sticker, that will be the end of it. I will not look for you, I ill not pursue you but if you don't... I will search for you, I will find you and I will kill you."

Say that and you will get a stick for sure.

  2. Thanks andy, gnarly as answers guys thanks alot ey. And if the dif is wielded does that mean I dont need to worry about the final drive to rear diff ratio? like can I put a 4.4 r180 and keep my 4.1 final drive rwd box? Cheers thanks again big helps.

  3. So diff get's wielded and axels removed. Is there a better method out of curiosity? I'm sorta wondering if the center diff will still tax some power while the power is on its way to the rear? I wont be doing standstills or clutch kicking ever

  4. Nar I know what people think of me and stuff but I'm actually not one of those guys that does skids in intersections, I've blatted my car around gravel roads before way outside ashburton and big grass patches that are being land scaped but that's it, and 70ks rounds the hills but that's legal. Reason I want to give this a try is I like the idea of a ej powering only 2 wheels instead of the full awd. On forza converting to rwd upped the hp a lot lol. will I try drift it? yea for sure but not round city roads :)

I wont put the box in myself, if Laaden has time Ill ask him but while the box is out I may as well up the axles if there so notoriously weak, could I get away with axles upgrade only? or do the axels only fit r180 which required hubs etc too. Car is version 2 wrx

  5. Found mint RWD gearbox on tm. Apparently Ill need beefer axles for rwd wrx (running standard wrx powertrain). It's only 250 for the box so it's cheap thrills really. Do I need r180 upgrade for this? or can I use standard r160 + beefer axles? and where would I get beefer axles from? sti r180 ones or something? any info would be mint.

From what I gather the gearbox just has the center diff removed/wielded. Would I need to delete my front axles? anything else involved with this conversion. If it's a can of worms im not gona bother cuz as I said this is just cheap thrills (cheap thrills being a budget of $800)

  6. damn badluck on the BEB or is it?, out of curiosity would continual beb failure be only due to failing spark, fuel, air mixture etc, pretty much anything that causes the engine to fight its self and bring hard pressure down on the crank. If that's true then if you have good ignition and good tune(etunes are notorious for det) and good oil feed u should never run bebs. Gota be a reason you keep running bebs. If your heads are still all goods http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/subaru/engines/auction-787716702.htm

or this: http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/subaru/engines/auction-787458878.htm Im pretty sure this wont be inline bolt pattern but ask him to be safe.

    Assuming you are in chch?

I hope someone more enlightened than me posts for you cuz im really curious about why everyone keeps running bebs in there ej's

also evowrx was selling an engine on behalf of someone, don't know what year it was though.

  7. I like the wide and low look for the gc8 recently, Not a big deal but thought if I can find some for cheaper then hey why not, not willing to pay like $800 for an experimental look though :/ thanks for the reply man

  8. One coming from the bov, One coming from my 90degree bend going into the turbo and you know the big hose running from the intake to the ICV, well under 12psi it would lift up and seep air and then close again, so it was a bit of a stealth one, I sealed them up except for the bov, im sitting on 19-20 vac atm so not bad, but I know once I start boosting the bov will be leaking hard. :(

  9. Are the coil plugs for v7 wrx onwards all the same? I've by passed my igniter and with a bit of finger work am running 2002 wrx coils with the igniters built into them and they are freaking great. My car is a version 2 wrx.

Reason Im asking is I brought these ones second hand off trademe and im not even entirely sure what year they are from but when I need to buy some more it would be good to know what MY im restricted too interms of "bolt in fitment" to the heads.

  10. lol yea I found the cronic leak, it would only start leaking over 12psi, one of the rubber hoses pops open only at over 12psi tho..... also the bov is leaking :( which sucks cuz I really like the way my bov sounds and its hella rare im really gutted bout that one.

Im gona clamp that hose up now. Also Im looking to buy a good condition BOV, atmos or recirc I don't mind. Thanks for the help guys.
