would this effect the car in any way if i took this out or is it better to have in there? what other brand gauges could i plug into this?

no gauges just one, its a billion water temp gauge i have no boost gauge in the car as i took it out because it was reading wrong. thanks for the reply. I\'m new to the late model sti as I\'ve only owned pre 1995 sti.

i have a 2004 v9 sti i have recently come across a sti boost controller of some sort it has \'record, play, peak, reset, up, down and select\'. I have no idea on how to use this it was hiding under my dash. Was wondering if anyone could give me a run down on how to use this. would be much appreciated.
