  1. Hey

    playing with the silicone inter-cooler hoses today, (upgraded to T-bolt clamps rather then hose clamps)

    put it all back together and now I only have 5psi until 2500rpm then it drops and goes like a N/A car.

    Normally before I changed over the clamps I was getting 16psi on primary and secondary pulled like a train.

  2. Air Filter cleaned 2 weeks ago

    Fuel filter i haven't looked at tbh

    TMIC is in good condition same with hoses

    189,000km

    replaced knock sensor last year

    never used upper cylinder cleaner

    Nothing goes ping, it has full boost 80% of the time then it'll be 15psi then suddenly drop to 7psi for maybe 5-10mins of driving then go back to normal. its not a sudden drop as in throw your head forward it just simply feels slower then you look at the gauge and it reads 7psi :(

  3. Hey, ive got a 2000 BE5 Legacy - RevC

    Got no CEL, but sometimes under boost I only get 7psi and a different sound out of my exhaust. Normally id get 15psi on both turbos, done it for 6months or so but its starting too annoy me. the other thing i noticed is secondary normally comes in at 4500rpm but when its down to 7psi it comes in at 5000rpm. any ideas

    Ive replaced air intake pipe, o2 sensor, spark plugs, coils, intake manifold gasket ect.

    Runs 110% when its boosting the 15psi best car in the world to drive then boom it cuts to 7psi. tends to be under load, eg; 4 or more people in the car or 5th gear up a steepish hill

  4. Everything was fine until this afternoon, I changed my GFB to full recirc rather then full vent, now it boosts 9psi and has no pull what so ever. I get a click sound in the back only on take off, The exhaust note changes. Its a bloody temperamental car!

    Ive since changed the BOV back to recirc and still no better it was at 7psi and stopped now im getting 9psi? Ive left battery disconnected overnight will let it idle for 20mins in the morning before going for a drive hoping that it'll be fine. It feels like its misfiring but ive got new sparks coils ect less then 1000km ago, ive only used 83km since its been fine :(

    Primary I want one that NOT ceramic cause im naughty and want comp surge :D

    Boost tap im open too / quite keen to find max boost and wind it back 3psi,, $50 get me a tap?

    intake is new

    Single turbo ive considered but not worth it to be and im not a fan of WRX my legacy is luxury

    Looking at getting the CAT removed as I was told id get better boost flow ect / slightly more pickup

  6. Willing to drive to Nelson area or chch if someone can ST my B4 had nothing but trouble with the TT set up and just want it ST now :)

    Let me know a list of parts and how much you'll charge lol either that or its going to the wreckers.

  7. In 5th gear at 3000rpm it shakes, primary is boosting but secondary prespool just doesn't feel right. Im at the stage of putting in a wrx motor and setting the twin turbo alight!! GRRRR so angry, Anyone in marlborough or want to come have a look give me a quote and fix the damn thing.

    dont think putting it into parallel will do stuff all cos secondary wont work atm? it kicks in and out doesn't stay boosting

  8. It looses boost at 4500rpm just pulls hard until then it drops a few psi and holds that right to red line its like its just on primary nothing more, you can feel like .5seconds of secondary then nothing which is the jumpy I was saying earlier

  9. Done the hose 10 mod, Got my 15psi back :D,

    only issue is feels like a lag at 3500rpm gets over it and same again at 4500rpm then still no Secondary?

    Yes i know that id get EPIC lag but hey ive got no power in high end coz secondary isnt kicking in at all, hoping that this mod will make a miracle happen and make it work

  10. Hey,

    I have the issue of laggy/Jummpy Det feel at 4500rpm

    In the weekend I had a mechanic replace the turbo intake hose as it was pretty F#$%'D thought that was the issue, Also when I plug in under the dash I get a flashing CEL????

    PS Factory EVERYTHING NO MODS that would cause DET,

    replaced so far....

    Knock Sensor

    Air Flow Meter

    Sparks

    Coils

    Turbo intake Hose

    Few Vacuum lines

    Price is starting to add up with no luck yet

    Its a 2000 Legacy B4 = my worst nightmare so far!
