  1. I\'m away from my car at the moment due to being at university, however when I go back home I plan to bring my car back with me. I\'ve been looking at options for lowering the car, and really my only choice is a set of lowering springs (Money wise), cant afford adjusties + cert. I was wondering if anyone had measurements for the stock ride height of a 2nd gen Legacy sedan or wagon? Specifically the RS-B TT model, as my car is currently on stock springs / Bilsteins. And any idea what 350mm Front and Rear would look like? And if you have pictures of your cars current lowered ride height + measurements (Middle wheel to wheel arch) that would be amazing! I\'m just looking to see what each ride height looks like and whether lowering it would be noticeable or a waste of money. Thanks!
  2. Hey guys, just wondering whether or not this intake ( http://shop.edoperformance.com/zerosports-90mm-air-intake-pipe-19932001-subaru-impreza-gc8-turbo-p-9218.html ) Will fit my BD5 RS Legacy (EJ20H - TT) Looks as though it will, but I don\'t want to make the purchase and find out it doesn\'t. Cheers.

    Plasti Dip

Nice, was thinking of doing rims as well, but it can all add up to being quite expensive! What do you guys think of vinyl wrapping as well? I\'m also considering it as it can give a better gloss finish, I\'m just worried about the hood scoop and how that would be done!

    Plasti Dip

Has anyone tried it? I tried giving the forum a search and couldn\'t come up with much. It doesn\'t seem to be widely available in NZ but from what I\'ve seen seems to come out looking pretty good, and reversible! Asking as I\'m thinking of plasti-dipping my hood and was wondering if others had done it themselves / had it done, or if you\'ve got any tips! Cheers.
  5. Got a quote from Magoo, they say its the Front Flexi pipe, $400 to fix, $90 for parts rest is labour. What are my choices here, am I able to do it myself, can I generally just seal it / cover it up or would it have to be replaced?
  6. Bit about the car. Stock Legacy RS 1996, Twin turbo, no exhaust modifications at all. So I went for a WOF today at VINZ and failed on numerous little things. However the car failed on an exhaust leak, the only problem is, the testing agent didn\'t and couldn\'t point out where the leak was. Can anyone tell me how I can be failed on a leak that even the testing agent couldn\'t pin point? He simply said to me "You have an exhaust leak somewhere in the front, its hard to see on these kinds of car, it could be the passenger side, I don\'t know." What kind of equipment do they use when finding these leaks, and how could he have found a leak and not be able to tell me where it is? I\'ve done some tests under the car, checking to see if any air is escaping in spots and can\'t find shit. Although it does sound as though the passenger side of the car is louder under the hood it is extremely marginal and hard to tell. Anyone have any idea\'s as to what to do? Should I take it to an exhaust place? Take it back and hope I get a different testing agent who wont fail me on it? The exhaust is completely stock, so sound is surely not an issue either.
