  1. Mind posting up some pics? Does your kit actually include the rotors?
  2. Not right now, they\'re on trademe all I have to do is hit buy now though. Do they come with modified drums to accomodate the larger rotors aswell? And how much?
  3. So, I\'ve just been through and had a read of the VIRM and it doesn\'t actually say anywhere in there that they need a cert for adaptors. So, how\'d you go about doing your adaptors DacerX? Are there some you can buy off the shelf or did you fabricate some up yourself?
  4. I assume genuine will cost an arm and a leg... But I suppose I\'ll try subie for a price. [quote name='DacerX said: gotasubys on the money, I did brembos on mine but used adaptors was a lot easier I would use adaptors, but I\'m not really happy with having to get a cert, not because you think I may be cheap... But because I think it\'s stupid having to get a re-cert for changing something as silly as wheel\'s to a different width etc
  5. And they bolt up the Version 7 WRX brembo\'s fine? And idea where to get them from?
  6. What exactly do you mean by fitting backing plates? Not really keen to make any adaptors or anything because I\'m not keen on a cert.
  7. That\'s the one! I\'m aware they don\'t bolt up to the stock hubs for the rear so was thinking if the axles fit the R180 hubs I could just change them over...
  8. So, I\'m looking at getting some R180 hubs for my 03 legacy gt (bl) does anyone know if these will fit without modification? Cheers.
  9. I\'m not sure myself, the clutch seems to engage and disengage flawlessly so I wouldn\'t have thought so. You\'ve got me wondering now, I\'ve heard about bleeding the clutch before but I\'ve never actually done it before nor do I know the advantages/reasons of doing it, is any able to shed some light on this for me?
  10. So, just wondering if anyones had the same trouble, when I was at the trackday at manfield, obviously doing high RPM changes as you do at a track, I noticed that if I tried to shift at a reasonable speed it would grind, however if I waited for the revs to drop (1-2 thousand) it would go in just fine. Has anyone had this same problem? Are the syncros in these boxes a bit slow? Or are there any oils that seem to help them along at all? Cheers guys.
  11. I did dyno it and it was running 15psi tapering down to 12psi at redline, but of course that\'s in Speedtech cold, windy dyno room, and the stock exhaust, not out on a hot track with a cat-back on haha
  12. Markys much much smarter than me at this and can probably provide a better answer but different weather conditions will produce different boost levels. If you had an increase from exhaust and were right on it all day a decent bit of a breeze coming up might have created the right conditions to push you over that cut threshold. I noticed an approx 2 PSI difference in sessions throughout the day dependent on when that breeze was up and when it wasnt. Did you have a boost gauge to keep track? I wouldn\'t have thought a breeze would be enough to give an extra 2psi And unfortunately I don\'t have a gauge to keep track of it
  13. Nope, headlight stayed the whole time. Also, mine reads about 5-8k too fast (according to GPS) and surely if it was boost/load related it would have been happening in all the races, not just the last few? I did have a cat-back exhaust on which may have made the boost creep up a tad.
  14. That would be my guess, wasn\'t sure if we have anything like that in our cars though? It never got too high to actually worry about which was good.
  15. What line? Anyway, yup, sure it had enough fuel. Just below half and even if that was the case, surely it would have been happening on the corners more than the strights? Also, pretty sure it\'s on the stock fuel pump.
  16. Okay so, I was at the Manfield track yesterday for the trackday, for the most part my BL went find! However towards the end, for the last two races, I got onto the main stright, hit about 165kph and then she just stopped... It was like it was misfiring, or hitting speed cut or something. There was easily enough fuel, and only happened in 4th on the main stright, any ideas?
