  1.  sobanoodle']Yep +1 for that. Not entirely happy how this tuning saga is unfolding. Sounds like he's looking well after a few of his favorite "promoters" but not that much after his customers.

At this stage I would NOT recommended his services, no matter how awesome he is.

PS: yes we know how busy he is, but then why would you take so many new customers on board if you cannot look after your existing clientele?..

That was why I said to load the new tune in :) The rocker cover breather vacuum hose leak you had was of course an issue and diagnosing issues is 90% of my follow up work in majority of cases etc. Other than defining the rest of the software for your ECU but the safety factory compared to the rattley factory tune which was on your car that was pulling 15 degrees out... now it does not pull timing at all(just needs the final .7 degrees added in now IAM can be set)

Just impossible to get hold of. Still need a tweak for my one but haven't heard back from him yet.

You have a flex fuel sensor or have to fill completely up each time. Think he was talking about some ecu's actually being able to work out the percentage just from the AFR's or something these days but can't remember if he was talking about subaru's or something else.

You should of had email already :) No Tactrix means my wife/secretary interprets that as can wait 3 or 4 days. I pumped out 411 emails in the last week :)

1Mb ECU's have flex fuel available in them no issues. Unsure of your ECU just yet since it needed so much extra for a full definition since the listed definition is wrong etc :) That said, your injectors would be out of flow

If it is urgent... put STAR in the email address. Usually 24 hrs min turn around

  2.  Marky']If you could get some confirmed (or more exact) pricing for NZ and an easy way to work things, I imagine you'd get a lot of customers relatively quickly Mr Happy

The ECU's themselves are available cheap as here so I can't see exchanges being a major issue

Yeah, looking at options while I am over there. I may be setting up a dealer/tuner in Auckland for them :)

    You can etune these?

Yes, e-tuned a few of them. Tune themselves is pretty solid gains. Typically 180 to 190Kw on 17psi on 98RON, Seen 230Kw with decapped injectors on E85

Other way is to contact me for postal details and you can send an ECU to France yourself and have it posted directly back(less postage etc)

Screenshots of the map based software for v5/6? And how much?

Australian V5 2 Door STI known as ARGO, its a dedicated track car.

Pricing varies depending on the Euro:Dollar but typcially AUS$500 posted on exchange(I have stock, post it to you with a cored deposit, post back stock ECU for full core deposit refund etc) plus price of the custom tune etc if wanted or doing it yourself etc

Heap of extra options available though :)

Fark he must be good then, defs are a biiiiitch to write.

Might have to ask him (cheeky c**t I am) if I can get a copy of the defs for mine... For curiosity's sake

I am one of 3 or 4 people who still write them on RomRaider ;)

    I wrote ones for a 2015 Gen6 3.6L H6 last month... took me 90 minutes haha

Thats all cool...Eculabs do V5/6 but again whos tuning it and need to send a donor ecu to France...

I am the EcuLabs distributor for Australia, I have stock on exchange all the time. Got V5/V6 STi, WRX, 98~00 B4 Twin Turbo and 98~00 Forester GT in stock

ESL is good value for what it is AND it is easy to use if you have used EcuFlash before

  6. Horrendously boost spiking in 2nd graph(maybe factory WGDC values at low rpm) as well, the auto is not liking the power delivery. VF38/VF45 are way off their compressor efficiency at that boost

That auto in the first graph is pulling trans line pressure to protect itself the way that spikes and dips before slowly recovering. Our local AUDM Gen5 usually go from 132Kw to 185Kw with just a tune with the auto holding correctly(decat dump pipe ran a 13.3 1/4mile)

  7. No need to get a Link these days when ESL offers tuning solutions on the stock pre-98 ECU's via daughterboard. Even have dual map options(98 and E85 or a fuel economy low boost tune and an aggressive big boost tune in one tune etc)
