  1. hey guys cant seem to get a definitive answer . what is standard boost for a 1996 sti impreza ??

  3. not much really got a bov . have borrowed some proper clamps for the vac lines to see if maybe the cable ties were not good enough. would be good if that was prob solved also it can spike and go to almost 20psi but then goes down to 16-17 within a second? sorry for the lack of knowledge this is my first turbo car and still learning
  4. just what it states my car over boosts sometimes normally only if i put my foot flat to the floor in lower gears was just wondering what it could be? Im guessing its just the hose to the actuator? previous owner replaced it with blue silicon leads and possibly there not the best . have cable tied around the hose but still seems to happen. it boosted over 20 psi!! :\'(

  6. Hey guys i have a 1996 impreza sti wanted to replace the tired air filter with a new one , repco sell the k&n filters but they come oiled . Does this mean stay away from them or does anyone know of any good dry panel filters? cheers George
  7. yeah works perfectly fine changing gears etc . never pops out of gear etc have had to pump clutch once when starting cos wouldnt go into gear which was a bit wierd but have had it bled since then.
  8. yeah checked tyre pressure all fine. Its hard to desribe , normally the ride is real stiff but doesnt feel the same now. people have said try wheel alignment, possible diff problems or suspension will prob have to take it in
  9. hey guys ive got a 1996 sti wagon and when i turn and then quickly turn back the other way it kinda seems like it floats abit and doesnt handle as well as usual . ive got tein adjustables susp in the car. anyone ever had a similar fealing ?
  10. hey guys ive got a 1996 impreza sti hatch and the clutch is not fully popping back out after letting my foot off the clutch . I have bled the clutch and it didnt change it. I have been told it could be the slave or master . Was just wondering if anyone has encountered same problem and if so where did you get parts from. local mechanic said slave could be 200 master could be 400 inc labour which seems very pricey for what seems a relatively easy job cheers George
