  1. Just been reading this link i found on this forum (will put the link in at the bottem of this page) and its basically about the twin turbo system its good reading. Question i wanted answered was if i was to remove the supercharged pressure relief valve and the intake air control valve would it enable me to run a permeant twin turbo system or possible sort out the vod. Its to much for me to explain but if you read pages 9 & 10 and read what they do it makes sense to me that it would remove the delay between the two turbos. http://www.veloce.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Twin%20Turbo%20Operation/ttopprt2.htm Would love to hear what you guys think and if this has been done what are the results.
  2. I know alot of subaru lovers will hate me for saying this but buy a crashed rwd nissan gtst 240sx 200sx take ur pick and stick it in ur legacy ive seen it done in the uk with a 98 impreza wrx and the thing what a drift animal, but thats just my idea.
  3. Could i convert to a 6 speed box and is it hard to do or do you know for a longer ratio rear diff. Is there a thread some where for an sti convertion.
  4. ok. so at the moment i need down pipes (with decat but this is going off subject) thicker sway bars and links as my car is a twin turbo could i use an fmic kit for say a wrx or sti if you understand what im babbling on about. suspention front and rear. same fit turbos (so i dont have to piss about) boost controllers brake calipers rotas gear box and rear diff (maybe looking for longer ratio) manifold and up pipe. like use the manifold and up pipe off a 2003 impreza wrx rite heres the reason why, love the car goes well just want to improve on small things like, i like that it has two turbos coz it means in town when u need a little bit of power the first turbos there from 2000rpm and if im giving it stick (getting my foot down) these a second turbo for the higher rpms (looking to get a bigger turbo for higher rpms). the handling is good for what it is its been lowered like 30mill and i dont want to go any lower just want it a little more crisp and sharp. reason im asken about iterchangeable parts is so i can pick up second hand parts and not break the bank (nagging mrs lol). so like i said improving on the little things but not breaking the bank lol
  5. hi guys I\'m new to the forum and so far found heaps of info for my 1997 Subaru legacy gtb. but i have a question which has probs been cover manytimes before but I\'m unable to find any, i wanted to know what parts are interchangeable from other models to my legacy like the forester imprezas and what year like the front anti roll bar off a 2005 impreza wrx, that kinda info. doesn\'t matter what just really would like other ppls tryed and tested methods or experience from what they have heared or seen.
  6. not sure if this helps but its the ej20r engine chassie e-bg5
  7. hi guess having some problems finding some performance parts for my 1997 subaru legacy gt tt (twin turbo) (bilstein model not sure if that helps). ok so at the moment im just looking at getting a new down pipe system, braided lines for the turbos (oil and maybe water), and maybe somthing to help with the vod so maybe a electronic boost controller or plug and play box for the obd. The car has a apexi turbo time apexi pod filter and muffler (not sure on make). This is my first subaru as ive come from a vw/toyota background and all though the basic parts of this engine is vw based (camper bettle engine) i have to say subaru have im proved on it some what and im very suprised and happy with what ive landed my self with. Every website i have gone on the earlyest lgt they do is like 2002. would parts off some of the newer legacys (down pipes) that kinda thing fit my car. ive got a lot to learn i know but need a little guidance or website pointing. by the way the car has been well cared for full sercive history with subaru and subaru parts everything works as it should.
