What about a 3L (BP model) Legacy Outback? Or not enough grunt?

That's pretty impresive!!!! ;D

As you can see, you're gona find very different opinons on this bro and probably conflicting and/or lack of evidence which aint gona help you much...........my advice, scan the internet for independent reviews and try and find people in here who actually use them. Radar Direct might be worth making a call to but keep in mind they'll have a vested interest in telling you what want to hear. Just get as much info on laser jammers as you can before sinking ur $$ into 1......... and if you do buy one..........b]maybe you have a cop mate who's happy to fire his laser at you down a quiet back road[/b] ;D
this is the only way really....
Yea just not convinced by them so far. Have read many reviews all over the net and laserstar seemed to be the best, but the internet lies ;D
Don't want to fork out $900 just to test something that may be as useful as a magnetic fuel saver (Although I hear these work amazingly, huge fuel savings ). Also don't have a cop mate.

Almost every positive (if I can be arssed calling it that) reviews are done by the manufacturer/distributor or by an agent paid by the manufacturer/distributor
As for the tests done on open roads they do that in controlled tests at 20km/h or less - aka lab style test (ask them for a complete rundown of the test parameters)
Almost every true independent review have labelled them a farce and waste of money on a similar scale as fuel pellets, magnetising fuel for better economy and power and all that malarkey...
This is why I would like to hear from someone that actually has one.
The other thing is if you do have one they are quite hard to actually test out as caspros just mentioned.

Laser jammers aren't exactly the cheapest.
Laser star is made in NZ and supposed to be one of the better available.
However I would be keen to hear from someone who actually has one and can inform me how reliable they are other than videos on the net. I think someone on here has one that I know of.

AFAIK laser jammers are legal, basically because laser jammers just emit light (unable to be seen by our eyes), a light which happens to be at a certain 904nm and a certain pulse rate.
Whereas radar jammers are a different story and ARE illegal.
Correct me if i'm wrong.

Well it's more that radar jammers use radio waves and purposefully interfere with things, and there are various anti interference laws / rules / regulations surrounding radio traffic. There's not really anything in existance for light waves however
Exactly my point...
Just couldn't find the words to explain about the radio waves and the associated laws.

I think the only imprezas that run the same type of rear suspension as the be/bh legacy is the V11 hatch.

How does the aftermarket kit adapt the injector tip/seal to the manifold?
Plus the 550s just decap to 800s if needed.

Check for vacuum leaks, and for leaking bov.

Yea it will be a cover that goes over the original wing mirror.

Gps could lead back to where all these other cars have been going before they are able to get rid of any possibly.

Anyone have gps installed and want to be the bait?

Moved relay/fuse box then stared at my car in a million pieces and all the new shiny bits. ;D

Mine went at about 170ks, I had only just done an oil change went down the road to test the new turbos I had just spent all day swapping over and was thrashing it before it was probably fully warmed.
New oil + not warm + thrash = big end fail
oops..

The heater controls should dim when the headlights or parklights are on, then you can hold down the off button for a bit and they will get brighter.

Redline is 7500rpm for a manual and 7000 for auto I'm pretty sure.

8mm long socket works well usually.

In saying this i have had nothing but good vibes from clunie Automotive/Subaru WREX......but then i have never dealt with him.
Never dealt with them either, but I don't think it has anything to do with these businesses. It's just corrie and his proven track record for ripping people off royally. He's possibly just using these businesses for cheap parts, labour or use of tools.
-
I know a few people that have had issues with Corrie and still to this day havent got money/ parts he stole off my mates. His car isn't as moddified as he says and is known as tell a story cory lol for obvious reasons

hmm this is starting to sound very familiar, the dude I originally bought my bf5 from was called corrie, it blew up a week after I got it and I could not get hold of him, he used to work (if this is the same guy) out at ruapuna as an apprentice mechanic for one of the formula ford teams.
Anyhow my sister in law's boyfriend now works for that formula ford team and tells me that "corrie" was given the boot for selling parts on trademe that belonged to the race team, cant be to many dishonest corries in chch?
Could find out where he lives from sister in laws boyfriend if need be?
Yup that's the suspect!
