Hey guys my name is Ash, I'm new to the forums. I'm having an unexpected problem with my B4. I suspect it is a sensor that's malfunctioning. The car is in very good condition for it's age and has been regularly serviced and has no other problems until now. Recently the dash lights randomly cut out, and the needles to display speed and rpm turn red and bounce up and down. When this happens I cannot see the speedo or temperature and gas gauges it goes black. I have no idea what causes it. It has happened randomly whilst I am driving, and occasionally happens when I start the car. Sometimes it returns to the normal display after a short time, but it has done this for long periods of time while driving. The overall performance of the car doesn't seem to be effected, the only problem is I cant see what speed I'm doing when it occurs. Has anyone else had this issue before?
