your spent so much on yur car why not go all out and buy a t51r kai turbo that puppy shouldnt let u down bro :-D
Those are not too cheap bro plus its a good thing to max out your turbo if you don\'t need more power, next step mite be to4z or nos but still well away need to use what I got now

It has finally happened people maxed out the good old 35/40 she\'s not giving anymore puff stopped making power at 473kw and started dropping after peak, must be gtx, to4z or back to nos soon, motor still sounds hungry for more boost

what boost are you running at the moment?
Holset? You talked to steve?
Yea been thinking about the Holset as well but need to freshing up my gearbox before I add more power its starting to get hard to flat shift into 4th but I have been racing this box for 4-5 years now

It\'s going up to 2 bar but dropping to 1.8 cannot supply enough flow

i think you get your 60\'right the rest is easy, a 1.3-1.5 is nice into the 10s
kws is just numbers and will change big time from dyno to dyno and track days but 350kw will get a 10
if you got a small power band i think short ratio will help out more then long
around 650nm will make things easier for u
-
ive got a spear 11s in a bottle if your keen
-
-
Innovate Subaru does them i think 50 bucks each
-
Im trying to make some for mine at the moment, not the easyest things to make fit..has to be 50x5 flat with 4x 10mm bolts .and within 150mm from the uj. and doubler plates on the inside of the car.
If anyone has made them for there Subaru can you please post up some pics?
Go for a carbon drive shaft then you don\'t need to put anything plus it will be a one piece so you will gain a little bit of power at the same time

You can get your bottle refilled at c&m in high brook Auckland it\'s about $300 but unless you add 60-100kw atw you not going to feel anything like the movie, I had 60kw add on and was not impressed but on track it makes good difference to spool big turbos

Try ST HiTech seems to do a good job on all of our cars and his dyno numbers are very good and true

Pull mine down. Got the sheet today looks like it at the flywheel. From the looks all gcp sheets are...
Now need to work out why the bother its so low for the setup/20psi boost. I knew it wasnt 227kw atw it just didnt feel that fast partly why I wanted to see the sheet.
how much was it?

yea got a 6 point chrome molly with all kind of stuff just to get the log book and the tech inspection

Would love to go to a ez30 but that\'s a lot of hours, unless you get help from outside income wages just won\'t cut it
-
wow guys sounds like things have been heated up here...
ra555: thanks for the backup but please dont mention gods name in that way.

rex-leggy: i knew what you meant by the 2.5 and the twin scroll and you are right it will help big time, there were other factors that were in the way when this motor was being built, mainly funds for sleeving a 2.5 block and parts were not so available like now, we have been building this motor slowly for 2 years now, next motor which already in the build is a 2.5 and we planing on hitting around 1200hp at the flywheel and that will go into a drag car no more motorway racing lol but like most of you the wages can only pay so much a week so things will be slow, i was only lucky to get help from Innovate Subaru to sponsor the motor.

Eight dollar: will it handle? motor will 100% but the car No its set up for drags brakes too small, shocks too hard, tires are wrong and aliment to go striate. i have never been on a circuit track before but keen to try, ill throw some road tires on and you just let me know when is the next meet, make sure you bring Jon\'s car along as well.
As for power vs power- come on man grow a pair - i only put that dyno sheet on here so people that love subaru\'s can see that you can get this much. As soon as you get a motor to make and hold the power it is easy the to go to a small turbo and make it very responsive, its easy to go down but not easy to make a responsive engine go up- just saying
evowrx:+1 all the way

Had a busy day with help from john at NS Spec we installed a new race seat, 6 point harness, moved battery to rear of passenger seat, fit a isolator switch on the outside of the car at the rear, removed the factory fuel tank, made and fit two more loops for the drive shaft, made and fit a scatter shield, made and fit drip tray........ and now all i need is to add a bit more to my roll cage to turn it from half to full cage and she should be ready for a tech inspection some time next week before Nigh wars
