Jesus use some full stops or commas.. Your lack of punctuation confuses me lol
-
Code 66 is just telling you its twin turbo'd out
-
Washed half of it
Put a motor in it, yeah

My old Nissan Poobird had that... ended up ripping out the central locking motor connections under the dash and wiring it into a Jaycar relay lol

I've found plenty of "OEM" replacement keys on eBay, but none with transmitter. Might try my luck at a wreckers or pickapart for the guts of the transmitter, and get a casing off eBay.
Fk knows gonna pop an AVS S5 in it tho

Rego been on hold since '13, been sitting for ages (previous owner)
Lucky I haven't put the DW200 in lol

Where would one source a replacement key + fob thing for a BG5? Want the legit key + the beepy thing to work lol

Hey guys...
Just pulled out the old (and somewhat broken) fuel pump out my wagon. Pump is covered in rust, sock is torn up and the inner of the tank seems reasonably rusted...
Opinions on using this tank? Will it be okay with a rinse out, using parts wash / brake clean sort of thing.. or is the tank no good? I'm not sure if this is to be expected lol

You'll need an version 5/6 non sti ecu. The wiring portion seems easy enough - there's a walkthrough around here somewhere.
I'm doing it and the hardest part to find so far has been the ECU.
Buy this http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/subaru/ecus/auction-928433444.htm
I stand corrected lol

V8 WRX ECU won't work - you'll need a V3/4 ECU as far as I'm aware. Personally I'm using a 6S from a V3 STi on my single turbo swapped BG5. Still retaining factory loom with just a few pinout modifications. Same injectors and air flow meter (y)
Do a single turbo swap + manual it, maaaad

Meh, was just trying to help out - these twin turbo things confuse me. Single turbo ftw

The only true 3rd gen Legacy STI was S401. The rest is DIY labeling.
Subaru did offer some STI optional bits for BE/BH though.
Ahhh disappoint. Looks professional as hence hoping was a factory item. Oh well it stays anyway.
How does one identify a DCCD gearbox? All the wires coming out I suppose?

Dumb question 101. My GTB has an STi Badge and what seems to be a carbon fibre sorta thing (also badged STi) on the rear bumper at the base of the boot lid. Do I have some sorta cool STi GTB or am I just dreaming lol

Yep sure do. Got a single button key and 2x 2 button from a v7 impreza. No success in pairing either, will try again with a new battery in each later this week.
