FMG Insurance
-Subaru Legacy RS Type RA
-$920 p.a
-Full Cover including windscreen
-Insured for $12,000.
-I'm 22 as well.

Have fixed it now. Went to Palmfields and found it it was throwing code 24, which is the idle control valve.
Thanks go to Sean (YELLOWSUB) for being a legend and providing me with the part! and to Ben (KELTIK) for helping fix it.
Also ran some upper engine cleaner through the RS and purged it, of potentially years worth of shit.
Car is running brilliantly!
Cheers

Sorry for bringing up an old thread, but my RS-RA is doing a similar thing.
It is idling at 2000rpm (Warm & Cold) and is running a bit rough.
Ideas?

Cheers 92Legesi. Rear windscreen isnt cracked tho so dont know how moisture could get in?
-
Ok swt.
It actually hasnt leaked I just presumed that moisture inside the car was from the worn weatherstrip.
Any ideas on where I would find a replacement weatherstrip?
-
As above the rubber seal on the top of the rear windscreen on my BC5 is cracked and broken and as a result may be letting moisture into the car.
Any ideas on where I would find a replacement???
Ive been using black tape as you can see but it looks shocking and peels off.
See Pics.
Cheers

I have a mate who has a 1998 Forester stb 'STI'.
It has a red STI Garnish and the STI Fog light covers.
Pulls very strongly for a Foz.
He has just asked me to ask the Club on there opinions on whether or not it is a genuine Forester STI as I wasnt aware that they were making them back in 1998?
-
Cheers. It just at the garage now getting a few things fixed and the coils and spark-plugs replaced (fark coils are expensive $712 for four of them)!
Then it should be good to go.

I have recently bought a 1990 Legacy RS type RA.
It is deregistered and has been for 2yrs.
Does anyone know what the process is for getting it registered ???
Heard it can be a bit of a prick to get it back on the road.
Appreciate any help as I want to get it road legal asap
ps. The car has no plates
-
U reckon its the coils? Not the AFM or O2?
Yea the exhaust is a 3inch turbo back leading into a 5inch muffler.
Will post more pics soon
