Sorted the back tail lights on my BH. They were collecting water as the seal had gone also found that i didn't have the middle back lights or brake lights as the bulbs were well not in a good state.
The lights held a remarkable amount of water!!
Anyways all sorted so the wagon is in good condition
Ha I had the same issue on my BH...silicone did the trick tho.

Haha real the old VZ was pretty quick...Faster than the TSR?
/quote]
Wasn't much difference in peak power (VZ 110kw vs TSR 114kw) overall the TSR was quicker cos it had a good bit more mid-range torque, the VZ only pulled well once you got the revs up. But man it sounded sweet doing it, revlimit at 7750 was pretty high for a 1990 family wagon!
Thirsty bugger though, I use less fuel in my BH5 GTB than I ever did with the VZ. TSR was pretty economical.
haha shit real ur VZ must have been real thirsty lol and its only a 2.0 NA! ;D
yea my TSR sounds pretty sweet at high revs as well and is relatively economical.

It doesn't seem that bad under 3k tbh but then again I havn't really given it too much over 3.5k haha. Ill have to go for a proper drive soon

I had a '97 TSR, not as peaky as the old '90 VZ (which was happiest from 5000-7500rpm) but they still like to be revved for best effect. Don't be shy about winding the revs out, they can take it!

Took engine and gearbox out of the hatch. Now it sits hilariously high and even my meager might can lift a front wheel off the ground.
Got the Impreza gearbox into it. Seems to fit pretty well and i think ill be able to use the stock gear shifter with no mods. And i can still use the stock speedo cable and axles
On sunday: Keltik and I dismantled his hatch and installed the TEIN lowering springs in the TS-R ;D

K,
So I went and got myself a 2002 TS-R for work. Didn't want a turbo as the extra 1.2l/100k adds up pretty quick when you clock 65,000k's a year.
But how could I make it a little perkier or more powerful?
Just seems a little weak on the hills, but everwhere else is fine.
Any luck so far? I also have a BH TS-R.... ;D

Stupid fuc*in hicks! :'(

Whats more interesting, is that most A/C filters are that dirty when fresh imports come into the country..
I replace my BE leggy A/C filter and it was just like that. It had already been in the country about a year.
Change it out for some Filter pad. No more smells and much more flow on high.
how much for a new one?
