Just engine rattle really, hydraulic lifters?

Hey guys, my 2003 2.5 RS has recently acquired some lovely tappet rattle, is there anything I can do about this, to either remove it or stop it getting worse??

Hey guys James here from Hamilton So tonight I started up my 2003 2.5 RS IMPREZA for the first time in a week, initially it make a loud knocking noise while the starter was cranking the engine over, the battery absolutely battling, I quickly stopped cranking when I heard the loud knocking noise. tried to start it again and it turned over alot easier but made a rattling noise, which eventually ceased. basically wondering if my EJ25 SOHC has hydraulic lifters and if this caused the issue due to the oil draining out of them over the course of the week. I am currently using 10w40 and my engine has done 230000 ks
