if it were me there house would have caught fire mysteriously in the middle of the night and i hope someone would be killed

Its people like you that give the car enthusiast community a bad name.

Im all for giving someone a crack or a bit of vigilante justice but yeah you just went overboard in a big way.

Seems there is no such thing as over the top with vehicle security.

Car theft is an epidemic in the UK in larger urban areas.

The guy i know there with the rapid cossie has locked garage, locked gates past that, two bollards that get lifted up into garage floor behind car each night and usual alarm / GPS.

I didnt even live in a city or anything either!!!

  3. Yeah a bit wack.

She did what she did and justice system will hopefully come down hard but at end of day you dont want her kids and parents terrified by these muppets.

There is definately an element of the car scene out of order - these FTP type muppets need sorted out imo.

Problem is they try and blend into the rest of the scene and claim that they are genuine enthusiasts.

Let's just be honest. When have the New Zealand police ever benifit anyone?

Like WTF? F**K them. I mean seriously I have been asssulted and had my house broken into 3 times and NEVER had anyone even come out to look at the damage.

When I try to be nice they just s*** on me and when i need help there never there or want to know anything about it.

Can anyone share some light on what New Zealand Police do again??

IMO they do a pretty decent job on limited resources whilst remaining apolitical.

anytime I have had dealings with them they have been reasonable but im not a feckwit, boyracer, yobbo etc etc.

  5. he is referring to he pays in lots of under $10k.

Over $10k in cash financial institutions are obliged to identify customer as per FTR Act - which would raise questions.

classic case is where people make multiple deposits just under $10k to avoid detection / transactions being flagged for fraud etc.

Smarter operators use a "front" business ie cash business such as dry cleaners, dairies etc to integrate the cash via "layering" ie falsely inflating takings by adding illegally gained cash to legitimate income.

Its called money laundering as the "dirty money" comes out "clean"

ahh sweet as yer : both coolers getting fresh air instead of one feeding the other etc.

seems logical some gains to be had if you can find the room

value for money wise I would be dubious/sceptical its worth it for the street

intercooler piping also tends to be shorter, plus in a shunt chances of the intercooler getting damaged are less.

Its one of those things where the time and cost outweigh the benefits IMO but there are benefits for street and motorsport.
