Gave car a really good clean as hadn't done so in a while. Came up really good.
Next up is tinting front windows, redo the carbon wrap around outside doors, fuel flap and headlights as well as interior.
Don't have any time off till next week but will look stealth I reckon being all black- 2

My outback has the i-sight stuff and the cruise control is simply amazing, used it on the way back from Christchurch and was so good

Yesterday at 11:22 Y’all were sleeping this weekend if you didn’t show up to the annual SVX meet in Reading PA. We had around 15 cars altogether. Also I know I asked this before but I’m dying to see a side profile, could someone photoshop the trunk and spoiler to white like the rest of the car? Not the roof though. Fun useless fact: the SVX never came all white from the factory. It came in other solid colors, but white was always two tone oem. SVX NATION
That looks so sick!- 1

Holy heck man glad you and no one else was injured! Can you go into details on what happened? I assume car crossed the centre line and hit you by the looks of itI think it may be time to tell the community. Be aware however that insurance hasn't told me anything so I'm not going to speculate on anything. However, this happened yesterday.
It's a weird relationship that people like us have with cars and some of us see them as tools, others as family members. My car was the latter. She was the only thing that made me happy no matter what and while she was relatively stock and the most reliable car I've ever had she was fun. Hopefully I will get another one day.
No one was seriously hurt, and it was not my fault. But hey, these things do happen.
Goodbye Legacy.

Tyres are 235/45/18s re003s.Depends on the tyre. This site is awesome for figuring all that out https://www.willtheyfit.com/

So this shall be he height my car will be with lgt bilsteins in it I assume? Will 18s make it sit higher though?Might have taken me a few months, but I finally got around to fitting Bilsteins in my BP5 last weekend.
Gave it a clean and got an alignment this morning. The result, speaks for itself..
Dropped 64mm and looks pretty flush on RE003’s. Well stoked, might take it for a test run to town VIA Whitford later

Sweet cheers!
Ughhh I can't remember exactly you'll be pleased to know that the Legacy struts are 40mm shorter than the OB, good drop there without even considering the springs!
-
-
Hey man any idea on how much lower the lgt springs will put the car down? I'm on 18s alsoiludez
Legacy & Outback suspension is interchangeable yes.
You will need to either a) cut the OB bumpstops or b) source some Legacy ones from a wrecker (I've actually seen them brand new on TM too) as even a moderate drop will cause clearance issues there...
Depending on how long you want your tyres to last, I'd recommend getting some adjustable rear camber arms (upper control arms) to correct the camber as even a set of Legacy struts will set you at approx. negative 1.5 degrees.
Other than that you'll be away laughing.
I still miss mine, handled so bloody well with all the suspension upgrades I'd done. Goodluck!

Damn that's nice!Still got it and still love it

If they are anything like tsw wheels, another copy company I would avoid. I had 18s on my bl5 and hit a small pothole in the road and both wheels at the rear cracked

Nice looking wheels but rotas are copies anyway. Not very well made wheels to be honest
-
It is a complete and utter pain in the ass to do. You need to remove the whole rear parcel tray out. So you also need to remove the car seat anchor points, seatbelt covers etc. It's not hard it's just a pain to do and once you get to the speaker it's even worse to try and Jimmy it out.ok, thank you very much

Got some inspiration from batbaruman and gave my wagon a good buff. I just used a drill, an old sponge, rag and a bolt with a bit on the end. Worked very well and cost $0.
Started with SCA liquid wax, then autohaus compound. Then used turtle wax color correct blue.
Cleaned up the interior also, took a lot longer then expected to be honest.
But it is 10x better then it was when I bought it.
Used the alloy wheel cleaner also.- 1

Quoting this from last year and I now own one. Even better that it's a bloody turbo version. Hopefully have some springs and shocks coming soon so it can be lowwwwwI don't own one but its the aggressive styling, Like the flares and big spotlights I love about them- 1

Yeah just finding a set at a good price seems quite trickyCan do, but it's a bit hit or miss compared to coilovers where you can get it just how you like it
-
Thanks mate, no intentions of slamming it just a decent drop. I read just throwing some bp5 shocks and springs in work good for a decent drop?
Yea they fit. Don't have to have to unless really slamming it.
-
So will bl/bp coilovers work on my 08 outback? I assume I'd have to trim bumpstops down anything else I need?
-
Currently on a bus heading to Christchurch to pick up the new wagon.
