Anyone know what these are from? Supposedly came from a v7. They just look like cheap seats with sti embroidery on it.
-
Any side effects doing the hogzaust?
some would say the hogzaust mod is a pretty good representation of how it’ll sound with muffler deletes, worth a try
-
Yep done that already still can't hear it.Take the snorkel out and you will hear the factory blow off valve a bit.
-
Andy you'd know the answer to this. How come on gen 4s the bpv is silent? Both my bp5 and bl5 are quiet haven't heard them at all, whereas on the be/bh you could always hear them. This guy does various parts for our cars. Used to sell them on liberty.asn.au but that forum is pretty dried up these days. I've got his silicone turbo inlet in mine. Previously had his BPV too but sold that when I went to the fromtmount.

Where are those specs from by the way?
-
Good to know. Anything special about the spec b?Yours is a preface Spec.B.
Well at least the bumper and the grille.
-
May as well hijack this I'm pretty certain mine is a spec b. This is what mine looks like and a Google image of a spec b.
Andy care to comment if it is or not? like.

You need bp5 rails but even then not sure you can make them work.

How bloody fast it is.

Why not just get an aftermarket ecu such as the eifil Prova etc.

Car : 2004 Legacy BL5
Tuned 16psi, kw many
Fuel : BP98/NPD 100
Fuel economy : 7.6km/L average. Mainly around town driving, if I driver it harder averages 8.6/9L
500 khs from $65 full tank usually nets me 750-800 -
Any idea on timeframe for parts to come in?
-
Nevermind did the check and my bl5 is on the list but no parts. Is it simply just a matter of waiting? Or can we be proactive and contact dealers to get them done?
-
Tried checking my bp5 and bl5 shows nothing for both. But a mate has same year as mine and has them. What's the go here?

Hey man I don't mind putting it on my legacy for the testing lulz. Send it my way cheers
I'm tempted to throw it on the legacy for luls but I know that would be maximum dumb for me to do lol.
It'll be going on the RA. Since it has the forged closed deck bottom end and Spec C Heads.
-
Sweet cheers, looks like an 08-13 wrx fits by the looks of it.
-
I can't seem to find anything online or trademe. After something cheapish. Not super cheap but not gfb expensive eitherThere’s heaps out there that fit. Height is typically the only limiting factor if you have the stock engine cover. Need to notch it out for taller ones.
-
I'd really like to throw a blow off valve on my bl5, but unsure what to go for? Are there bolt on options that fit other cars like on the be/bhs?
-
Yeah man I can imagine, though this does have a short shifter installed
Imagine what it would be like with a 6 speed, and those shorter ratios.

My bp5 wagon was definitely fast but this just feels so damn quick in second gear. Goes so so well.My friends factory BP5 felt faster than my tuned WRX too Must be that twinscroll, dual AVCS goodness
-
Pretty sure they operate from Facebook, it's his side business
Lol Ive lived in Nelson my whole life and never heard of "Subaru performance repairs" who is this company?
-
My god this thing is quick! Holy smokes it pulls so well, the difference compared to my be is massive
