Love the color!Moved house! The wagon was infinitely useful so it deserved a wash and wax afterwards

So could I also use these? I'd change top hats on front. Want a decent drop though https://www.trademe.co.nz/1811456964

Damn I was hoping I could just splice the wires. When I disconnected the stereo harness the air con screen didn't display though?- Get ISO harnesses from TM/Repco/Supercheap etc - Subaru to ISO and ISO to whatever stereo you have
- Unplug your factory stereo - separate plug, HAVC is on a completely separate plug so won't be affected
- Connect your new stereo using harnesses
- Connect aerial (might need an adapter - available on TM etc)

So I have an 03 bp with the factory stereo and HVA ea single din cubby which fits a single din in nicely. I've taken the factory one out and tried to figure out the wiring. I thought I would just be able to splice into the factory harness and run the headunit off of that, but it turns out that doesn't seem possible when I do try splice into it I just get terrible crackly sound and its very low volume. Anyone got an idea?

Cheers guys can't beat a set for 40 dollars hahaRears will fit without swapping top hats, but yea fronts will need bp top hats
-
Awesome cheers!Swap tophats over.

So I bought a set of springs and struts off trade me, the auction said 03 so I thought sweet will fit into my 03 bp no sweat. Then I released they were 03 be/b4 and I'm not sure they will fit?
Any ideas?

Sweet so just plug up the hole when removed then?
Any links to doing the cat? I've never done one before

Oh so similiar to the bh that has the resonator box in the guard?
Ahh yeah forgot about the swaybars. Underneath the filter box there's a resonator box that can be removed. Gives you more intake noise and apparently mildly better spool.
Decats reasonably easy. I just used hole saws on my drill to drill out the majority and break up the structure a bit then used a long pipe to smash the remainder out.
-
Have front and rear sway bars done.
What is the intake milk bottle delete?
I'll look into a decat, can I do it myself.Rear swaybar for handling.
Intake milk bottle delete, 3-port solenoid, downpipe/decat and a tune. Not exactly ’cheap’ but that's probably the way to get the best bang for your buck without wasting heaps of money or your spare time.

So with my bh5 there was quite a few easy/cheap and essential mods I did and was able to do are there any things like this on the bp gts?

Front swaybar looks like a 22mm+ also. Took it to nelson and it drives so nice, handles way better then my last gtb.
-
I haven't even checked the front lol. I shall do that tomorrow Ive been super busy and only had a chance yesterday to even clean it
Agree with Boon
It’s a crazy thick bar. Is there something equally thick on the front to match? A Cusco or Whiteline one in their hardest setting at 21/20mm is more than enough at unless you wanna be hella stance-y with some 15k spring rate coilovers.

Sorry for crap photo. It's raining.
Perhaps instead of a 20/21mm solid bar, whatever the brand/company is decided a massive diameter (27mm) hollow bar would be the go...? Just a thought...
iludez can you post a photo please? I'd like to see how out of proportion it looks mounted to the car.

It's black and has f3-27 written on it, can't see any branding on it.
Geez that's a big one. For GT’s stock is a 20mm hollow bar. What brand is it?
I used my caliper tool and it's definitely 27mm.
It's nice buying a car and finding a bunch of goodies on it. -
Was cleaning my exhaust tips yesterday as I've just bought my bp5 and I noticed that my swaybar is pretty massive then googled part numbers and it's a 27mm rear bar. What is the stock size on a BP?
-
My bp5 has this setup. It looks so stupid, the tips hit the swaybar or at least close to it. And I can't mount them any higher
-
So I sorted it just have to be forceful with it and it works fine. Happy days
-
So just picked up an 03 bp5 annoyingly though the seat is stuck in backwards position, forward does not work at all.
The tilt and all other adjustments work completely fine though.
And since I'm 5'8 I'm pretty far away from the pedals lol! Guy was over 6' id really like to get it sorted.
Does anyone have any ideas one what to do?
-
So after selling the gtb I bought a caldina sold that then bought a territory. Now I've just picked up an 03 bp
