Looking for one for 7K.
i know you can’t really pick up a sti for that but I quite like the 1999 wrx sti
My friend got a v7 sti for 7600 , so keep find on trademe , you might got one

It’s an early v11. Surely that many codes suddenly appearing like that would point towards a grounding issue at the ECU

Code reader : rules out pre 98's OBD1's
Grill & engine shot : says Impreza to me, possibly an STI (duh badge) newer than a V7
not bitching too loudly, as its obvious to some, but not everone what you have But more info = better answers eh

Just done the dyno turn in last 2 weeks. Car was getting problems today , black smoke and lost all power , engine stoped , but can restart ! This happened 4 times in 5 mins . Then I parked the car for 10 mins , start and run . But still more black smoke than usual.... turbo boost gauge @ -0.8 Bar when idle . I think before was on -0.6 bar . Any idea what’s wrong with it ?

because they are tuning your factory ecu, which has a very good boost control algorithm anyway and has added benefit of few satety features such as boost limit based on hot intake temp, raditor or oil temp or other bad condition just to name a few.

Nope just wondered if it was just a dyno run or not. Looks as expected for more boost.
Not too sure how the set up the boost as they took my electronic boost controller off . I think I have got wrong setting last dyno , got both electronic boost controller and standard boost solenoid on last dyno .

comes on boost quickly which is nice, that's really decent top end too.. i'd trade down a measly 7kw from where i am and take that kind of response any day haha. what turbo is this anyway?
Still standard turbo , standard injector and fuel pump

Should use gull 98, the. Will close to 240kw , I’m using PB 98 at moment

The scalings wrong, the torque number should be down around 400 or there abouts, factory 207 rods tend to lunch themselves around 500nm.
Nice curve though, should be pretty fun to drive!!
It is the second dyno in last 2 month haha , feeling much better this time

5L Motul 8100 X-cess 5W-40 100% Synthetic. Get a genuine Subaru filter/sump plug washer is optional.
If you go through with Jacky he will sell you 5L Motul H-tech 100 10w-40.

It's that badly priced? It was actually the cheapest I could get. All the connections I have can't get it cheaper because they can't get a discount on Motul oils. If my memory serves me right PBMS had it for like $70 Inc GST I think but driving down there and going back up would prove to be the same ish to $90 for 5L.
My car prev had Motul H-tech 100 10-40w which was a little bit cheaper coming to to like $75-$80 I think.
All up really I spent $120 give/take I didn't really think much into it as I use to pay around $70-80 for genuine oil and filter for my Honda and that's on a 30% discount too.
What oil you use for ur grb ?
