  1. Lol good selling point for you ;D
  2. Not as good lol.....40psi is insane, the times its doing even fully built motors struggle to achieve.....im not saying your wrong but 40psi race fuel and 30 psi pump gas is pretty dam strong
  3. Yea id say it needs to be forged to handle 40psi lol even if its race gas
  4. Saw some videos and read some threads on this person in ausi running 10.22 at 219.7km/h in his stock version 7 sti blocked gc8, his mods are jun cams, jun cam gears, head studs, gt35r at 40psi , headers, computer, race fuel......i didnt know a ej207 from a v7 was capable of running a 10.22 at 219km/h plus ....lots of people on here told me there isn't much difference between a version 7 sti internals and say a gc8 sti ej20.....guys in ausi believe its a much better block and their times speak for themselves........there are others running low 11s etc with version 7 ej207, is this all real or b.s???? Im running a little over 240kw at the wheels with my version 7 spec c blocked gc8 version 6 with a td06 at 19psi but no where near what these guys are running Below is the thread discussing about the 10.22 sec car......plate is gtreta http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/general-subaru-discussion/24865-gtr-eta-10-22-%40136-5mph.html This is the video of it doing a 10.22
  5. Heavy duty clutch can be used with the clutch in start but it just causes added wear thats all
  6. On stock or mild clutch i dont see any problems but on a heavy clutch set up i wouldnt run it.......the added pressure on the thrust washer with minimum or no oil being present on first start up is a bit worrying for me.
  7. Not trying to scare you but if you have a heavy duty pressure plate then it wouldnt be a good idea to step on the clutch on start ups as it puts a bit of pressure on the crank shaft which puts a bit of wear of the thrust bearing (washer) and can cause crank walk over time it just means the crank starts to have a bit too much movement overtime and engine rebuilt time this was a huge thing on some supra forums as almost all supras were running heavy clutches making decent power and some of them suffered crank walk due to clutch starts.....
  8. Yea the instruction manual says gm 3bar map sensor but doesnt say what voltage so i assume they must all be the same.....
  9. So any gm 3 bar map sensor will do?
  10. Can i run link 3 bar map sensor on my possum link v5-6 ecu? The stock one is maxed now so the car is running rich azzz over 18psi and we cannot do anything about it, at 20psi its running 10.6:1 afr in higher revs as injector duty cycle goes to 99percent no less no more which shows map sensor maxing out
  11. What time will a 240kw gc8 pull? Stock weight is 1270kg have done a bit of weight reduction should be around 1250kg...Hoping for low 12s
  12. I cant drive my car after 30secs of idling as the aftermarket ecu it has doesnt like being driven cold .....does sitting in traffic cause the same damaging effect?
  13. only engine that is truely bullet proof is the 2jz ;D]
  14. I think the v5 and v6 intake manifold bolt pattern is different from the leagcy and imprezas before v5 and after v6 so im kinda stuck now and finding new aftermarket injectors is becoming hard as well, anyone with any ideas where i can find some bolt on injectors or maybe topfeed fuel rails for v5 and v6?
  15. Hey bro can you mate do the same mod for me? how much does he charge and can he do it for a version 6 manifold if i supply gdb rails and injectors?
  16. thanks guys.....after i take out the two strips is there a chance the plug will pop off easy? Dont want that happening under boost .......also will the injector drop in with aftermarket top feed fuel rails?
  17. If i buy top feed aftermarket rails to fit my v6 inlet manifold will the pink tops just drop in? Is the wire plug the same for yellow top v6 and pink top v7 injectors?
  18. so the v7 is basically the best??....semi closed deck and beefier rods an bolts
