My replacement after selling off my B4
2006 Legacy GT Spec B
-
In their policy terms under components covered they state:
Manual Transmission – Casing and all internal components.
Does this mean it will also cover the Synchro's?

Hi
I'm looking to get WRX style pedals for my '99 Legacy B4, would the following fit? I think that dead pedal wont.
http://www.fredbeansparts.com/index.php/subaru-legacy-wrx-pedal-upgrade.html
http://www.fredbeansparts.com/index.php/prosport-aluminum-dead-pedal.html
Or would these be better as it comes with a right size looking dead pedal?

I have a '99 JDM Legacy B4 and am wanting to interface the OBD connector to my carputer.

Recently my clutch is letting out quite a skeaking noise as I depress the clutch pedal. Can be heard from the engine bay, louder than what can be heard in the cabin. I don't have any issues with the clutch/gearbox performance. So what should I get looked at? What is likely the issue?
thanks

Hmm weird on the RHD its nowhere near there. Got a quote for $180 for module and $80 for labour.
I ordered the part from sub-a-roo spares $20 and 15minutes to install it. 1 minute to locate it (not counting above effort) 13 minutes getting the fscking screw out, and 1 min to attach the replacement. Pics for others reference.

Arrgh now they don't work 90% of the time, so I finding it difficult to locate where the unit is. I have the service manual and it also doesnt state where the flasher module is. Is it under the dash, is it reachable from the opening under the drivers side?
thanks

Thanks, where is the flasher unit on a B4? Is it a relay? So I guess will need to get one what do they cost?

So Im in my B4 at the lights one morning turning right, right indicator is on. All of a sudden the indicator stops indicating, then it came back on all by itself after a minute. This has started to happen quite randomly and at the most inappropriate times i.e. when im bloody about to turn, I get horns, fingers etc... Starting to get dangerous.
As I said it happens randomly, affects all indicators, left, right and hazard. Everything else is fine. They will indicate then all of a sudden stop, and then come back on randomly, nothing I have tried works, i.e turning off the car and electrics and turning it back on. It's almost as if the indicators give up saying im on a break f*&^ off.. and then come back on..
What should I check?

Factory Sub?
in I.C.E.
Posted
I am not looking to replace the factory system in my BL Legacy sedan yet, no monies But I am wanting a little more Bass.
I got this sound system, just the other way round for RHD
Was looking into the factory sub woofer, apparently not available in NZ.
It's available from here http://parts.subaru.com/ecatalog/index.cfm?startyear=2006&makeid=32&manufacturerid=1001&catalogid=201&categoryid=42060&subcat1=&subcat2=&subcat3=&subcat4=&subcat5=&modelid=657&siteid=215892&itemid=19595&retval=
Or should I go for one of the low profile underseat ones, like this http://www.jonvy.co.nz/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=1375 or
http://soundgroup.co.nz/content/alpine-swe-1000
I don't want to have to wire all the way to the battery at this stage, can these be powered off the headtunit, tapping into the power and ground?
I have a couple of plugs under the drivers seat, which I assume are for the factory Nav unit/Amp for the premium sound option? Can I use the power/Gnd from those?
