    I made 240kw with stock intake box and system with hole cut in the silencer box for more cold air and drop in panel filter.. Don't waste your money on silicon parts... Just get your ecu reflashed, you'll benefit the most from this.

    240kw with a EJ257

    The power result/engine wasn't important, it was more that these parts don't need to be upgraded to make more power..

    What all mods hVe u planned?

    Usually an exhaust and fuel pump and retune nets good results in the v7 Sti

    Have done a fair few with above mods and still running stock intake and gains are approximate 30-40 odd kw

    And reflashes are way cheaper than that lol

    ++100000000

    That intake might gain 2kw? Or make it *pull real hard bro* but reflash is best safe power increase for your money rather than sucker mods that every joe slaps on their car..

    It'll be worth every penny, get a before and after dyno graph and then post it up... You won't be disappointed!

    Anyone know where I can get one spoke coloured,, Is painted or a sticker?? I saw lots on the weekend but I don't know how to do it. :S It seems only Rota Grids come with it.. But mine didn't?

    Can someone help?

    I'm sure it's probably a vinyl, just go to a vehicle sign writer. Will cost $50 or so and then you can take it off when you get bored...

    yea thought about something like that.

    but i havent had a good look at how the pump in/on it works or weather or not its mounted inside the res.

    thats a nice engine bay you got there to by the way chur

    I use a standard pump, just drilled out a hole in the stainless tank to the right size removed the pump from the stock tank and put a rubber oring round it and in it went! all standard pump and wiring apart from the tank and oring! So much easier than relocating to the boot...

    im only taking a stab in the dark here - but normally the 3 wire fans are 12v + , signal and earth - being the 12v wire allways has power and the signal wire turns it on and off - the problem would be that you would need to use the signal wire to turn the 2 wire fan on and off and the signal wiring would be small (low amp) low current wiring

    wire a aftermarket relay to it so it has full power

    I thought there was three wires and they were two speeds and one earth? Aftermarket ones will only have one speed so you may have to combo the two speed power sources together into the one new one? Someone else please confirm :P
