  1. You sure it wasn\'t the previous owner? Seems a lil strange for it to go missing only a week later...
  2. Wellington car parks just aren\'t safe... Sucks you can\'t enjoy a nice car without worrying where you\'ve left it or who\'s seen it.. Hope your insured and that you can get back into another Suby!
  3. Saw you twice this morning I think? Gutted man..
  4. I have HID headlights in mine, looks like they have been converted n have some extra wiring n fuses or resisters on them?
  5. Kiwi Race cars did my cage... i wouldn\'t reccomend them... very slow at doing anything tbh so you\'d be waiting a while. Go to the guy in the Wairarapa, it a bit of a drive but he\'s a nice guy and if it\'s all legit then you\'ll be sweet.
  6. There is a water pipe under the manifold, it carries water from one side of the block to the other, it's metal tho and has rubber seals and bolted down so shouldn't leak? Might pay to check this first before going on a rampage of hose hunting.
  7. They're just on a spring clip, if you figure out which side the clip is on just push that side from the inside and it'll pop out.
  8. Gutted bro, those tints are shatter proof so would explain the no glass... Will keep an eye out for you! I feel another mission coming on for new car?!
  9. haha yeah, it has to leave the garage to get stick tbh... Check out the pxt I just sent you...
  10. I only live 5 minutes away now so might roll the ol thing out of the garage for a drive!
  11. yeah I rolled mine straight from engine builder onto a tow truck and delivered to the dyno room. Running in was fo when engines were crap, with all the new parts available the engine is basically run in once it's primed... Feel free to disagree but I haven't had any engine failures due to not running in... just from fuel failure
  12. I ran with a smaller intercooler to avoid cutting into the bumper support and beam, it does push it first further so you need t trim the bumper more but keeps it all legal! 600x180 ftw
  13. started her up for the first time in 6 weeks, still with big hole in headers and she was not happy about it... gotta drop her off tomorrow to get new headers and uppipe down so the 20 minute drive is gonna be loud and offensive!
  14. I just assume everyone has v7+ engines nowadays.. My bad lol
  15. Spec c block is no different... I'd say 250-270 kw atw, the rods will let go n you will need to upgrade oil pump to ensure everything runs smoothly... But meh, pump it up n see what happens I guess?
  16. What tyre though, and what offset? I run a 17x 8.5 +44 with 245/40s n I use to get inside guard rub on the fronts..
  17. Not true! They won't pay out if the modification was the cause of the accident... You don't even need wof or rego n they still have to pay, as long as the items in question did not cause the crash well this is the case with my insurance company... I went over it in detail with them a few months back. But yeah best to get a cert, only 400 n no pissing around at wof time...
  18. Interesting that you say they need 95 to run, I have a NZ delivered Mazda 6 for a company car and it uses 91... All our company mazdas are imports and Mazda themselves suggested using 95 or 98 in them, might be differentto Nz new? I heard the Nz new ones are only 2.0l not 2.3 like the imports but have never bothered to look it up?
  19. I had one for my last work wagon, costs $130ish to fill up, they need 95 or 98 so not the cheapest, use to get 500-600 depending on open road vs town driving with air con on 100% of the time n me smashing it with my heavy foot. Cool car though with lots of space, get one with the sports springs n Bose stereo ftw!! Other option is a Toyota avensis? Slightly less power n cheaper to run, look cool on 19s too. I've got one n done 220000ks n only had to replace one wheel bearing!
  20. Quicker through corners?
  21. ++ Get a new boost restricter pill and remove crappy boost tee...
  22. They run they same as the 2.0, vf37 or something?twin scroll but still poos as their on so quickly n all done by 5000rpm Gt3540 ftw ;D Will destroy your stock block in a second tho...
  23. Pm me what u need, I'll trade you parts for gearbox. ;D But seriously pm me what u need
  24. Hardout! I was jacking the car up this morning n noticed it again and was like Ahhh, Rob was right! Yeah will pop into the toolshed when in the Hutt and see what they say.
