  1. u know people have been puting evo ecu's in gsr's for years with great results. 1800cc to 2ltrs also got my bh5 motor runing in my bg5 and its ideling fine and driving great apart from it not having a iacv atm.
  2. well yesterday miss's took our toyota there to have lunch with her friend,comes out and 3 skum bag kids had tryed to brake into my fucking car smashed the rear window out then got caught, fuck center place they need to sort there shit out. 460 for a new rear window. hopefully the cops make them pay befor christmas else my christmas is fukt
  3. had to replace the bh5 crank sensor with the bg5 one and got car running but its running very bad not sure if plugs are correct or plugs fouled
  4. ok been trying every way i can think of and still aint got it to fire ;/ also what pipe is for gas in and gas out of fuel rail? im guessing the filter attached to the strut tower is pressure from pump and solid one is return.

  6. hey anyone able to tell me what plug goes were? i have a bg5 loom and not sure witch way around the plugs will go for the injectors and coils?
  7. partners sisters car got stolen about 2 months agao from there, security guard stayed back after hours and watched all the footage and got a face pic of them, cops went thru there database found them. Car was found less mags and sounds in there garage in auckland.
  8. hey anyone know if a bh5 flexi plate is offset one way more than a bg5? as my starter motor is now jaming? or if the starter motors are different... i counted the teeth from a bg5 one and beleaved them to be the same? or does it have a longer throw?
  9. lol sounds like my old evo 5, gearbox pulled 14 times in a year rear diff 3 times ayc twice transfer case twice. sold it wen it dropt 2nd gear on its 14th gearbox rebuild by the legends at marshall transmission's the transmission fuckwits they did more k's in it than i did in the 2 years i owend it lol

  13. from what i found they are the same? and a single turbo converted ej20tt motor with a sti ecu is gona have just the same difference anyway, but no one cares with that.

FYI: bh5 motors have a 4pin tps... but only use 3 pins. u can put a bg5 motor loom onto the bh5 motor and chuck the bg5 tps onto it aswell. will be posting up a way to wire up the bh5 iacv valve too. also u can put a bg5 throttle body onto the bh5 motor but u will need about a 19mm frost plug to plug up the iacv valve. then your motor wont run or have any iacv sensor.(have seen this done alot on evo's that are for drag motors)

  16. just talked to a auto sparky and he says its 99% possible to rewire the tps and not use the iacv valve will have a irract-ish idle but will run fine. my last evo rally car didnt run iacv valve... just gota give it some gas on cold mornings to start.. have just scored a complete bg5 wagon with blown motor for 300 aswell so will document the way to rewire and get it to run maybe evan make the iacv work
  17. um seriously my ecu has 4 plugs into it? its the ecu under the ps carpet? agenst firewall? has the following numbers t5 2261 ab391 a18-000 rs5 4329

  19. You can still use the bg (phase II?) manifold on the bh (phase III) block, what you need to do is make up an adapter plate, the same as what you would do for a bellhousing adaptor. If you have both of the manifolds off you will be able to trace out them onto a piece of paper to figure out what your adaptor is going to look like. You will need to get it cut out of alloy, more than likely getting it laser cut, which alot of people around here will tell you where to go depending on where you are. You can either supply a 1:1 tracing of what you want to the profiling company, or you can/get someone to draw it up as a .dxf for you to give to the profilers. What area are you from? that is another way actuley hadnt put any thort into it!, will try to source a complete manifold and bg engine loom and can messure up i tryed geting a gasket for the heads but repco list the same gasket for both motors lol
  20. yeah thats what im thinking alot of the mazda turbo motors upgrade to a 4 wire tps on there 3wire tps ecu's so this could be a simple fix? just need to get a bg5 manifold infront of me
  21. Ok, but whats the difference between the TPS on a bh5 and bg5? as the car will plug and play apart from the TPS and the IACV valve? thus matching afm to the bg5 ecu if i can sort out the difference with the tps i mite be able to just do a rewire? same with the IACV valve?

Right, this is becoming more of a pain in the ass now. i can get a complete manual conversion for 750 from a 1996 bg5, that will go into my 94 correct? next the bh5 motor wont run a bg5 intake manifold? and the sensors from the intake are different? what should i do to overcome this? Option 1: single turbo conversion? but what will work? like what intake manifold will i need ect ect? my car is a 4 plug ecu auto bg5 i would like to stay auto and twin turbo atm as i have 4 other projects on the go and realy just need this to drive atm...
  23. will a bh5 rear diff fit into a bg5? providing the ratio is correct? Also. im chucking a bh5 gtb motor into a bg5 chances of the wiring loom pluging in from the bh? or rewire? will the turbos bolt to the standarg bg downpipes?
