What sort of prices would i be looking at for getting a new set of Tein HA set ? Trying to gauge if those ones on Trademe
are actually worth it ? Have been on trademe before hand but have been obviously relisted
-
Im looking at getting some adjustable suspension, and was wondering what peoples thoughts are on these ones on trademe..
As i dont know squat when it comes to these sorta things

I dont know, glossy could be too shiny, but matte black could be a bit dull, find out either or and ill have a think about it
Its either that, or doing a DIY
-
Very curious on what it would cost to go black instead of white ?

The dull lightning occured before anything was added to the car... It did have a stock boost gauge which has now been removed..
There has been 3 gauges added but they dont run off the light switch.. they come on when the car is turned on.. Could that be the problem ?

Ok to some of you this is probably a noobie question... but
I've looked on google and in the search on here and failed to find anything (maybe im using the wrong search terms)
Im wanting to know if a subaru wrx 2000 ver6 has a dimmer switch for the dash lights ? i cant find one anywhere..
The lights in the dash are barely visable even with the stock bulbs / aftermarket bulbs
and was wondering if it had a dimmer switch to try and maybe brighten them ?

My car failed a warrant due to a tiny cut/crack in the front cross member...
According to them, i can get it repaired or get it certified.. bastards!
-
one off trademe, when i got it, it looked like a complete knockoff! the holes for the gauges were cut pretty cheaply,
One side had more of a slope on the bottom than the other lol.. that was the main reason for not fitting, oh
and it being too wide.. like just by a few mm, but enough for it not to fit at all... if these 2 options i have in mind
dont work, im gonna have to try and find another lid for it as the original one was smashed

5"1' wowsers
Did some bondoing hoping to create a mastershitpiece for my gauges to be housed in..
I have no idea how its going to turn out.. i may not even use it.. as i brought one of those
defi gauge pods, which was apparently for my model, tho it didnt fit at all.. so has been hacked to pieces... to
fit, but still is too big and sticks out a bit on top of the air vents.. bloody hell lol might end up putting them onto
the pillar and be done with it, tho i really dont want to put them there

Holy Moly
Thats really bad luck, Hopefully you can recover her car!

Wow, i think i have a new favourite color!!
-
that PFS, was incredible! I believe my car needs some tender loving care like that to get a few key scratches out on the doors
and some around the boot area.. Wonder if i could find a cheaper alternative to DIY! Maybe buy a buffing machine

DVDdecrypter works fine for doing dual layer DVDs..
Makes copying *cough* making backups of xbox games easy..

Pictures would be great then we could maybe turn it
into a guide for others to use maybe.. well that's silly if
the trim isn't actually held on by screws lol, now I have to
remember where all the screws go I took out! :-[
I took out the glovebox cos I'm running some gauge wires
up into the dash where the sunglasses holder is (if that's what you call it)
-
so dont need to unscrew the two screws in the ashtray area then ? jesus, you must have to be bloody violent with it, i know it
moves out a little when i tug on it but, im more likely to break something than do any good lol ..
-
Ok (for me) i thought it was going to be a little easier than i thought, but i was wrong... :-[
Ive searched on CS forums thoroughly... searched the internet etc finding diagrams and
tutorials on how to take a headunit out of a WRX 04+ but for some reason its completely different for mine lol..
So to reason why i start this thread, im looking for help or hints on how to get in behind
the stock headunit to replace with my new Alpine iDA-X305..
Ive tried alot of things but im guessing theres just something im missing, maybe a couple of screws or something
i just cant get that dam dash trim off Any help for this noobie is muchly appreciated

Isn't most of the colour in the board, not the bulb condom?
Exactly! hence why you have to painstakingly (with fine sandpaper) scratch the green film off, if you want any color to show through..
Ive heard, even if you put blue bulbs in, or even blue condoms, it will show up teal (bluey green) color.. So off with the green film i'd say!

2 of the wheel nuts have been put on cross threaded, and I'm wanting to know if its
possible to get replacement studs, or whether I'd need to replace the entire hub.
This sorta needs to be fixed asap as im pretty sure id fail a WOF the way it is :-\
